A question about post cruise day at Disney

Will this work?

1. Buy Disney transfers
2. Use their luggage service to get our bags checked-in, so we don't see them again until we get home.
3. Take Disney transfer to a resort and then to Disney Springs
4. Take Magical Express back to the Orlando airport?

Contemplating a day at Disney Springs or something at the end, but not dealing with rental cars, luggage, etc.

2. I don't believe you can send your bags on DCL transport unless at least one person in the party is also on the bus. If you are flying on a domestic airline, you can do onboard check in and the luggage will be taken to your airline once it's picked up the night before. BUT, to do onboard airline check in, you must be using DCL transfers to MCO (or have your flights booked through DCL).
3. You can't take a bus from port to WDW resort unless you have a reservation at the resort.
4. You can't take Magical Express from a resort to MCO, unless you have a reservation at the resort.

If you do decide to go to Disney Springs, dealing with a rental car won't be that difficult. Shuttles to nearby car agencies run from the port frequently. It's an easy drive to Walt Disney World and then to the airport, where you can return the car. We have done this several times.
