What a good hubby you have.

Sometimes my digital SLR takes some really nice pictures, but for the most part, I'm pretty happy with the quality my smaller one takes. And like I already mentioned, my SLR doesn't take video like the smaller one does. I don't think I've taken any video at WDW before. I will be on this trip!

Exactly why my Kodak is in my backpack also. In fact, our last day trip to MK, we stayed for Wishes and I had both cameras around my neck. I'm sure everyone around me thought I was strange. I'd take a video, then snap some pics, more video, more pics ...... I'll post some on my TR when I finally get to that point.

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! I was disappointed that the Cardinals lost the game last night, but I wasn't devestated. I just like to root for the underdog. Here's hoping the Patriots are in it again next year.

Friday evening we all went out to eat at our favorite mexican restaurant - Chevy's. Connor was going to a birthday party on Saturday so we needed to pick up a gift. I decided to head over to the Disney Store for a looksy.

This mall is an outlet mall so there tends to be some good deals. As soon as I walked in the store, I spotted some shirts that were only $2.99!

I got each of the boys a long sleeved (same price as the short sleeved t-shirts) and a short sleeved.

I would have loved one of these for myself:

Chuck even got in on the shopping, which is very unlike him. He asked if I needed a new coffee mug. I had already planned on getting one at WDW, but he said, "But, these are only $3!" Okay - break my arm why don't you.

And, like Jackie - I got my haircut this weekend. I cut it myself though. I was needing a bit of color as my grays were starting to show. Chuck always says he can't see any. But, Sully is always there to bring me back to reality. Even after I colored my hair he said, "I still see lots of gray hairs." You really can't see any - guess he just didn't want me getting too confident.

Did you notice anything about the shirt?? Like perhaps it's one of my new ones I posted about a while back that I said I wasn't going to wear until our trip??? Well, I went out to lunch with a friend yesterday and had to make sure the shirt really fit well.

I was thinking of asking you if you had heard anything about the move.

Love the Mickey mug and the boys t-shirts are fantastic. And I don't see any gray. You obviously have a much nicer DH than mine. He pulls the gray hairs out, actually mine are WHITE, but he still pulls them out.

Mine are white too, but whenever I say that people laugh at me so I just say gray.

I don't have a ton and they've just started popping up in the last 2 years. Coloring takes care of them.

I'm trying not to call Chuck to find out if he's heard anything. He usually does PT on Monday mornings and it takes a while before he finishes with that and gets to his desk to check email. If I don't hear anything by 10, I'll be calling!!!

Melissa - do you know where Mayport, Florida is??

I had no idea, still trying to learn my way around the state. But looked it up on maps.com and it shows to be directly East of us on the other side of the state, near Melbourne. Is this a possibility?

Nice shirts...very cute. My boys LOVE Phineas and Ferb...in fact that's what's on the TV right now!

My DH made a gray hair comment the other day and then had to do some serious backpedaling! We were headed to Wal-Mart and I was asking him if there was anything else we needed. He says, "hair color?" WHAT????? LOL! He usually colors my hair for me...what a guy...and he says it's been a while. Nice try...what he really means is that he sees gray! My plan is to go get it professionally colored before our trip.

Anyway.....cute haircut! I wish I was brave enough to cut mine myself!

Can't wait to hear the latest on the move!

That's too funny about your husband. I wouldn't want Chuck to do mine for me, although I know there are lots of husbands out there who do a great job. I just cut my hair straight - nothing fancy. But, I love it! And, hey - it's free!

Good Morning All,

I am a newbie on the thread. I think I'm all caught up now, although I must admit that I only read the links on the first page, too many other pages to get caught up on.

We are going to be at the World from March 27 until April 3 or 4th staying the Fort Wilderness Campground, and like Carissa, I'll also be celebrating my Birthday on March 31st. The trip was my B-Day present from DH and DS. It will be me, DH, both 36 and DS who is 2!! Yes, a terrible two year old!!!! There's never a boring minute with him.

We are so excited!! I will admit though, that we just got back from Disney in December. We stayed one day pre-cruise, then went on a 7 Day cruise, then did a two night post stay. It was GREAT!!!!

I just called Chuck and apparently on this particular cycle, they have two weeks to decide, instead of the normal one.
So, he says we won't know until the 11th.

Well I don't guess you'll be coming to Louisiana. I don't think we have any Navy here! You said one of your choices was Florida..what are the others?

That's a terrible wait! They laid off folks here at my work in Jan, and they told us they were laying off 11 percent on Dec the 8th and didn't tell us who it was until Jan 13th!! Sheer Agony waiting to know if we had a job or not!!! Although, I would LOVE to be a stay at home mom!! No luck for me...I'm not the breadwinner of our family...but we would definetly have a life style cahnge if I quit..like no vacations probably!! We go about 5 times per year.

If you've only read the links, you might not know that we've been trying to get orders since Sept/October and this is our 4th time trying. All of our other requests were denied. They told us Chuck has to go on a ship this time or overseas without his family. I'm pretty confident we'll get one of our choices this time.

#1 was Everett, Washington
# 2 was staying here in Maryland
# 3 was Mayport, Florida
# 4 was Brunswick, Maine/Jacksonville, Florida (I guess it would be Maine until they close that base out and then have to move to Florida.)

I really want Washington State. No - nothing in Louisiana. Closest would be Pensacola, Florida or Texas, but those weren't options for us this time around.
