We will be gooing to HH with a other couple in November and would like to book a Private affair with chief Gordon. I have read so much about it on these boards. How do you book it? How much does it cost? And some suggestions on food please.

Hi, email Chef Gordon at HHIchef@aol.com or call the resort directly and have them connect you to him (probably will get a VM). You will want to call him ASAP as he is VERY popular! The sooner you book the better chance you have of getting a reservation!!! I believe the cost in Min. of $150 or 50/pp for 3 or more...It's well worth it! He will email some menu suggestions and you can work with him for your preferences. Most everybody will tell you to order the crabcakes. He's well known for them. Good luck and enjoy!

Slightly unrelated, but I got a mailing from Disney offering 2BRs at HH during some Nov and Dec dates for $99 per night. You may want to check into that and save some points.

Yes. I had to reread it several times -- $99 per night for a 2BR!

The $99 special is for Disney Visa card holders. If you have a Disney Visa, you should have the code (or you can get it from the Disney Visa website).

It's also the AP discount. I tried for my nights that I'm already paying cash after Thanksgviing but was told there was no availability. DVC couldn't book it so I would have to book a new reservation at the reduced rate then cancel my old one according to MS.

the $99 rate is for two people, $25 per person per night for any over two. When on points it includes up to 8 at no more charge.
