A Princess, Pirates and Pixie Dust!

Tammie, I love the pictures of you and Dana playing around while the boys were elsewhere.

Fun Cars and P&F pictures...kids look like they are having a lot of fun.

Your picture on R&R had me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I like the Great Movie Ride...I just wish they would update it.

Thanks, Kathy! We had a lot of fun together - I wouldn't have even paid attention to this area if it wasn't for all the fun pics I've seen on the DIS.

The kids were stoked to meet P&F for sure!

Yes, TGMR could use a facelift, but I still like the classic "kitchyness" of it.:rotfl2:

Ryan, Jim and the boys all went to see LMA! Dana and I played around on Streets of America

I zoomed in... Dana's expression is priceless.
What was she pretending to be so terrified of?
Too much bleach? :rotfl:

Mav loves cars! He is very attached to his Hot Wheels, so this was perfect for him - He hadn't even seen the movie that we know of, because he did not know any other Disney Characters, but he loves him some cars!

I hope that whole "hadn't seen the movie" has been corrected!

Londynn found some time for a nap

Awwww.... Disney will do that to the little ones.

Evan decided he had had way too much fun in one day - He laid down in the street!

I know I’m a dork, but I really like TGMR if it’s not a long wait

Guess I'm a dork then. I like it too!
Although I think my favorite part is at the end and trying to see all the movies that I recognize.

The kids really enjoyed it and were not at all worried about the aliens or the outlaws.

My DDs took it in stride too.
I suspect since they hadn't seen Alien at the time, they didn't have a frame of reference in order to understand that they were supposed to be scared.

We got the John Wayne version, which I don’t think I had seen before.

I know I haven't.

Next: Lions and Tigers and Rain!

Thanks for the update, Tammie! :goodvibes

Happy Belated New Year.

Seems I have a little catching up to do. I let myself get behind again. I worker harder at home then I do at work it seems like. At work is when I get my Dis time it seems. Now that the holidays are over, hopefully I can get back into the swing of things.

Turns out I wasn't too far behind. Sounds like another fun filled day at DHS.

When posing with the umbrella, did you make it rain?

Glad to see you finally got on RnRC. I think that would have to be my favorite ride at WDW.

Jedi training looks like fun. I wonder if they would let me audition?

Pizza planet is pretty good. Lady H and I tried it for the first time on our last trip. Mmm. Pizza sounds good for dinner tonight.

Can't wait to read the rest.

:rotfl: She was trying to look like the door was really heavy!

Oh yes, he has seen LOTS of Disney movies now. He only watches for about 5 min. though. :lmao: He is most in love with the characters that he met at Disney. He's still trying to learn the names. When he gets a gift or we pull out a book with a character on it, he says, "Hey! That guy!!!" :rotfl2:

Awwww.... Disney will do that to the little ones.

Glad there are so many fellow dorks here! :goodvibes

Maybe that's it - not so creepy if you don't know what those aliens are known for....

I know I haven't.

Thanks for the update, Tammie! :goodvibes

Hopefully another update this weekend - getting to the last day. :sad2:

Great Update !! I love GMR too!! Usually the wait isn't toooo long !!

It's a nice break. I remember the first time we didn't know what it was, and we waited for an hour! :lmao:

Turns out I wasn't too far behind. Sounds like another fun filled day at DHS.

Yeah, lots of fluff, not so much content :goodvibes

When posing with the umbrella, did you make it rain?

No, I was afraid we couldn't turn it off once it started! :rotfl:

Glad to see you finally got on RnRC. I think that would have to be my favorite ride at WDW.

My kids love it! I think I like EE the best, but this one is a close 2nd for sure!

Jedi training looks like fun. I wonder if they would let me audition?

:lmao:

Pizza planet is pretty good. Lady H and I tried it for the first time on our last trip. Mmm. Pizza sounds good for dinner tonight.

Now look what I started!

Can't wait to read the rest.

Thanks for being here! Hopefully I can finish this up soon!

Another fun update!! Love the pictures around DHS!!

Thanks Sandy!

Love the RRC pic, you were clearly having too much fun. Sleeping kiddos too...in the street even!

Fun day. I know I've missed a bit so will try to catch up!

Finally all caught up again. :lmao:

Now that sounds like a definite fun day! I really like your umbrella photo! And TGMR is the perfect way to end the day.

DHS is not usually my favorite park, and almost never a full day, so I didn't have high expectations - It turned out to be one of our best days! Of course not getting rained out made a big difference!:rotfl2:

Good for you - I'm still so far behind on so many....

It was a great day, and thanks!

Today was a sad day – it was our last day of family togetherness and triumph. :sad1: Monday, July 15th. Today we were headed to our last park – it is what I always say is my favorite, but I’ve realized I get the “real” Disney feeling at MK, so it is hard to choose between the two.
Londynn was ready with her themed outfit of the day:

We took the bus and Ryan’s took the car today. My plan was to meet early at the RFC Gift Shop and hit the “sneaky” door, but we ended up getting there a little after RD, so Main Gate it was.

Looks like Ryan’s had some fun with the photopass while waiting for us.

Our first order of the day was to head toward EE and get a FP. Since the line was short, Jim, Ryan and I stayed with the littles and the rest hopped on for their first ride. All three kids got “I rode Everest” T-shirts for their bravery! I think this now became Mason’s favorite ride, but not Londynn and Myles.

We headed back toward the Safari, hoping that the line wasn’t too long. Along the way, we stopped for some family pics.

I have this one on my wall in the frame the kids bought me on our trip:

CONT NEXT POST

The picture of Londynn on EE is priceless! Love her outfit. :)

Jill in CO

We had almost a walk on for the Safari – I think we waited 5 minutes once we had walked through the queue. I took a lot of pics of the kids, because I was just enjoying their experiences.

Hmmm, looks like a Rhino

My what big teeth you have!

The animals were out and active, but already hiding from the sun, so they were deep in the trees at times. I think this was the first time we didn’t even see the male lion. We have been fortunate to see him standing or sitting on pride rock on our other visits, and one time we were even treated to a ROAR! So I guess it was our turn to miss out.

I love giraffes!

Goofy hunter

We made it through the poachers and headed down Pangani Trail -

The acquarium was a great hit! They got a big kick out of the hippo swimming with the fish!

Meerkats are so cute!

MORE TO COME!

No fair! Vacations should last forever!

I'm gonna protest!
I'm gonna write.... somebody!

Londynn was ready with her themed outfit of the day:

Very cute.
She looks adorable.
Did she learn that pose from a princess? :)

OMG, that pic is hysterical! :lmao:

Those are nice family pics.
I'm not at all surprised that you framed one.

Really?
Boy that's not the way I remember it!
The wait was always long, even with a FP!

I took a lot of pics of the kids, because I was just enjoying their experiences.

That's the best part, isn't it?

Hmmm, looks like a Rhino

Nope. Those are blackbirds.

:rolleyes1

Serves you right!
I've never seen the lion.
So now that you've missed it, maybe next time I will!

:snooty:

The acquarium was a great hit! They got a big kick out of the hippo swimming with the fish!

I remember taking my kids to the Calgary Zoo where there's a similar set up.

Same result, too.

MORE TO COME!

Sounds good! :goodvibes

London's outfit is adorable!

Great group shots of everyone. Your really did make great use of PP on this trip. Your pictures all turned out fabulous.

Yay for no wait on Safari. :thumbsup2 That doesn't happen very much, does it?

London's outfit is beyond adorable! :lovestruc

And her face on EE is beyond hilarious!! :rotfl: Bless her little heart.

I love the family picture, it's a good one to hang up for you too see everyday. Gotta have a good picture of your babies to look at. ::yes::

Sorry I haven't been here more often. You know I still love you and think of you often. :)

Yes, please find out who we can write to - I'll write a letter too!

I think she did!:goodvibes

That one is probably the best ride face! :lmao:

Thank you! I was really glad we got the PP+ for this trip - we got our $$ out of it for sure!

No, we usually only ride KS with a FP. We really hit the crowds right this time
I used ***Disney Touring Plans*** for the first time - loved the real time lines app too. I think I will go with this one from now on:thumbsup2

Doing the catch up everywhere!!!

Love the day at DHS and now at AK. Cute outfit on London.

I can see why she might not like EE. ;)
