A Princess, Pirates and Pixie Dust!

When I left for church a week ago (No, it didn't last a week - not that kind of church LOL! ) We had just finished lunch at ABC Commissary and I didn't know what I ate. After lunch, the adult kids headed over to RNRC and Jim and I took all the kids to Disney Live! It was quite a hit, especially with Mav and Evan! I dug up a couple of the RNRC ride photos - looks like Jim and I took a turn, afterward with Ryan also:

Disney JR:

Okay, photobucket says we did our 2nd tour of TSM Here:

Now it was time for the Jedi Training! This was such fun for all three of them!

MORE TO COME

Waiting for Santa? This is the sweetest pic!

Yes that was taken Christmas Eve. They woke up the next morning happier than ever with all that Santa brought for them.

Hope you can get something to take care of your allergies (hopefully that is all it is.) How fun that you get to see the Oregon Ducks play!!

Obi Wan Mason took his training very seriously

While Hans Myles is planning something devious, I think

Princess LeLondynn had some trouble getting her light saber to deploy. We got the cutest expressions on her face – one of the assistants had to keep helping her. Don't know if I have it here - photobucket is acting up again

The head Jedi had fun with her since she still had her Tiara on from the day before. I thought she would freak out when face to face with Darth Vader, but she was a brave Jedi Princess!

This was such a fun time for the kids. They each got a turn fighting Darth Vader! So much better than having them stand around in a circle in the hot sun waiting to be disappointed at not being picked. In the end, they turned their robes back in and got a certificate and a hand of applause.

Now it was time to put our Jedi training to use and do a Star Tour! With the first ride, our family was put in the front seat and Myles was “that guy” The enemy imposter or something like that. (they put the picture up on the screen). We rode a total of 6 times among us with taking different turns with the littles in tow – one of us got picked 4 of those times, and we were in the front seat 5 of those times! Do you see the PD pattern? That’s why I have the Big Brother theory.

NEXT: MORE ROCKIN AND ROLLIN ON THE FLOOR!

Yeah for defeating Darth Vader!!! I will be signing Jeremy up for it for sure when we go!! He get's picked almost every time we go to DL but I do hate having to get there so early to get front row so they see him.

Love the pictures of them. Wow for how many times you guys ended up in the front row and being picked. Jeremy's been picked a couple times but never when I've ridden with him.

I wish I could do R&R...but I just can't. Love the "sleeping pictures."

What fun at Disney's Playhouse (how I wish they had more of this when our kids were little).

I love all of your little Jedi's...they all look so adorable.

And :cool1::cool1::cool1: that some of you were the Rebel Spies!

Toy Story Mania...love that ride.

I hope you and all of your family have a very

HAPPY NEW YEAR KATHY AND MARK! It was so fun to just be able to watch the Jedi training - PP took pics for us and then handed us the cards.

Happy New Year!

THANK YOU KARIN! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND TOM, TOO!

When I left for church a week ago

Holy!!! (literally!) :scared:

(No, it didn't last a week - not that kind of church LOL! )

Oh... phew!

We had just finished lunch at ABC Commissary and I didn't know what I ate.

Wow! How exotic does the food have to be that you don't even know what it is.

:rotfl: Love that one!

Okay, photobucket says we did our 2nd tour of TSM Here:

And Pbucket don't lie.

Never, Ever! Look into a light saber.

Ever.

Those things can take an arm off, ya know!

What a great idea.

Yup! ::yes::

Sounds like more fun!
Thanks for posting! :goodvibes

First let me wish you a Happy New Year!! I am at work and can't get PB to let me copy any New Year Greetings !!! I loved all your pix of Jedi Training !! I actually rode Star Tours for the first time in December and am Happy to report I survived:rotfl2: I will even do it again !!!

That's so cool that Jeremy has been picked that many times!

Happy New Year!!!

It is cool that he get's picked. Probably helps that he's always front row, excited, wearing his Star Wars cape and a Star Wars shirt of some type. We've never had a sign but he's always excited and jumping up and down.

Happy NY!

Those pictures on RnR are priceless. Seriously? Don't they take that picture when you first blast off. There is NO way I could have kept a straight face and pretend I was asleep.

It looks like the kids thoroughly enjoyed their Jedi training experience and those pictures are absolutely wonderful. Their expressions are perfect.

And 6 rides on Star Tours plus being picked as the rebel spy. Nice! :thumbsup2

I LOVE Obi Wan Mason!!!

Thank You! Happy New Year to You, too! So far so good :goodvibes

Thank You! Happy New Year to you! I'm a little slow getting back over here :rotfl2: I'm glad you survived your Star Tour! I love this one, but Jim opts out because he gets motion sickness.

Yep, that is the blast off pic! They must have nerves of steel :scared1:

I was so pleased with the Jedi experience! The kids loved it, and the PP pics were great! Yes, the PD was flying for us!

And Pbucket don't lie.

No, unless it uploads everything in backwards order, and then all bets are off. It's like the Twilight Zone!

What a great idea.

It was great! I think they have lost their crowd appeal, though. It is pretty much just families of "the chosen" that are watching now - it used to draw a big crowd of "hopefuls."

Yup! ::yes::

Sounds like more fun!

Happy New Year DISbuds! I'm ready to Rock N Roll on the next update! We had just finished Jedi Training...

Ryan, Jim and the boys all went to see LMA! Dana and I played around on Streets of America

We shopped in the Christmas shop (I bought our 2013 ornament, Thundermountain Mickey Ears) and got in line for Phinneus and Ferb. I can’t remember what else Mark’s were doing, I think shopping, but Myles is a huge P&F fan, so we texted them and they came back to wait also. They snuck around the corner and met some cars:

Mav loves cars! He is very attached to his Hot Wheels, so this was perfect for him - He hadn't even seen the movie that we know of, because he did not know any other Disney Characters, but he loves him some cars!

Then the boys showed up and we got our photo shoot with THE boys

we all love "FI FURB" as a few of the littles have been known to refer to them in the past:

Dana and I had one last ride together

Londynn found some time for a nap

I told Mark we would take the littles back and they could stay, but they kept putting it off. We decided it was time to feed the monsters again, so we mentioned Pizza Planet, and they were all so excited!!!! We really enjoyed our Pizza, and the kids played a few games .

I think they did one more ride with Jim, and Lindz and I took the kids off toward the stage show near AI. It was dark, and they were rocking out on stage. It was funny to see the contrast of the littles in the stroller. Evan was leaning forward and pointing to the characters dancing – while Mav was doing the “party boy head bump.” Apparently he has been to a party or two. We headed back toward the Hollywood Boulevard area and had some ice cream at Hollywood Scoops and then Mark’s headed home. Evan decided he had had way too much fun in one day - He laid down in the street!

I know I’m a dork, but I really like TGMR if it’s not a long wait – well, it was virtually deserted, and we were right in front of it, so we hopped on for one more ride. The kids really enjoyed it and were not at all worried about the aliens or the outlaws. We got the John Wayne version, which I don’t think I had seen before. Ryan pronounced it a good way to end the evening, and as we walked out in the warm air, with the Hollywood lights twinkling, I couldn’t help but feel like this was one more perfect day for our trip!

Next: Lions and Tigers and Rain!

Great F&F pictures of the kids.

And you go girl - rocking out the RnR one last time!

I used to love GMR. You are totally not a dork. If you get a good gangster it can make the ride really entertaining.

Thanks, Mary Ellen! It's nice to know I'm not the only dork. :rotfl:
