thank you everyone for you kind thoughts and prayers for my hubbys stressful work situation!! He is really going through a crazy time at work! However i talked to him today and he seems in a much better mood-- and thankfully his manager went to his store today to help-- well it was a very busy day for them today and his manager was at a loss for words on how busy there were-- and agreed to get Josh the other 2 employees hired so that he can have a fully staffed store before he leaves for disney

I am very glad that the boss man was able to see how crazy and successful his store really is

I always tell him just to get through the day-- and think about coming home to his house and his doggies

oh yeah and of course me
Oh I'm so glad that the boss man came in, most of the time bosses have no idea what kind of stress you have because they're never actually there working with you. I'm so glad he came in and saw how things are and now your hubby will hopefully get the help he needs!! Glad things are getting better at work for him!
now for me-- well thats another story-- LOL i started out forgetting my cell phone at home-- so i felt lost all day-- then had a lot of crappy work to do at work today-- then i type this post up already and something happened with my computer and my i lost my post!! UGH! so i stopped ate my low-fat grilled cheese for dinner-- did some chores and now i am back trying to type this again . Today is another day thank goodness!!
Oh I'm sorry you had such a bad day!!
Now on to some money saving tips that i use to save money on disney/for disney/ and in the real world:
~ we always travel to disney in sept when the rates are lower-- and when we can get free dinning that saves soo much money!!! and we are able to go for a 10 days trip because of that reason!!!
I wish I could but unfortunately I am still in school. (But not for much longer only 1 more semester to go!!)
~ We are staying at a value resort-- all- star music-- we figured that this saves us a lot of money because we spend most of the time in the parks
I've never stayed at a value but I'm so excited to stay at Pop this year!! It should be fun!! My reasoning is the same, we're not going to be in that room that much so why pay for something we're just going to sleep in!
~ we always get the re-fillable mug
~ we use extra snack credits to get little souvenirs for people such as a little disney snack
That is an awesome idea!! I love it!
~ i try to put 100-200 from each mine and DH pay check each week in savings depending on what is going on for that week LOL
Unfortunately I have to wait until my big people job to start doing that but I do try to put my change away so that saves some!
~ I pack my lunch everyday of the week-- and DH and I eat out on Fridays only which is most likely mcdonalds and i get a happy meal for my WW points
I even bring my own coffee in the morning in throw away travel mugs to save money!
~ I get the Sunday paper delivered every sunday morning and sit in my pjs while drinking my coffee cutting coupons-- then i figured out what i need and organize my coupons but the aisles in the store
~ I shop at a discount grocery store called ALDI-- anyone hear of aldi? Its a grocery store that has generic items-- well mostley generic that are at very low prices -- and very good food too
Yep heard of aldi's. I've shopped there once or twice but it's not really close to me so I'd probably make up in gas what I'd save in in groceries!! I have inherited my mom's ability to find the generic version of whatever food we're looking for (it almost always tastes the same!) and we save money that way!!
~ I use coupons for amusement in my area-- such as waterparks, amusement parks, zoo, and enjoy going to craft shows because it doesnt cost anything to look
~ I go to movies in the morning hours such as 10-11am and get movie tickets for 5 dollars a ticket instead of paying the evening prices
~ Instead of going to see a movie on a friday or a sat night we rent a redbox for 1.07 LOL and i make my own fat free popcorn
Alot of the time Ian and I just wait until the movies come out on dvd and then download them and make our own popcorn, so much cheaper!
~ I use the points that i get from my bank for using my debit card to get free gift cards so we can go out for a nice dinner
~I only shop at retail stores with coupons, and try to get my clothes on sale, I will buy clothes for the following year with end of season sales
Oh gosh I hardly ever by anything unless it's on sale!!
~ I love vera bradley and shop on ebay and
amazon for vera bradley and my amika that i just got
Amazon, my new favorite place to shop!!
~ I try to make meals that will last 2-3 days-- ( soups, roast, sketti etc)
~i grow a garden for my tomatoes and zucchini in
yeah I also inherited my mom's ability to kill plants!!
~when tempted to buy something online that i dont need i walk away and clean instead LOL!!!
Ooo maybe I should do that instead, but I hate hate hate cleaning!
These are just a few of my money saving tips that i have learned to use that work well for us!! Please share some of yours

it will be nice for everyone to share especially for in this economy and it will give us all more DISNEY MONEY!!!
so the next question is-- i am trying to decide on how much money to take to disney-- we are covered with food from the meal plan-- but i like to buy some souvenirs-- and a few adult drinks

and we are not sure what extras we are going to want to do for sure yet---so-- i was thinking 50 dollars a day per person-- as a very high estimate-- which would be 1000 for 10 days and i want to take a little extra incase for come across anything -- so i am thinking $1300-$1500? does that sound like way too much

? I guess its better to take extra and then if we come home with that money it will be a nice suprise for our bank account!! woohoo!!
I think that should probably be enough but I'm not very good at the deciding how much money we're going to spend, but I would think that should be enough.
so with that being said-- everyone share one or a few money saving tips-- and do you think the amout i want to take to disney is reasonable, too much, or too little?
up next--- traditions while in the world
