a pretty strange question

I have to admit - but hopefully SOMEONE out there will relate to me....

How can I make myself see myself as fat??? i'm CLEARLY overweight to everyone else & on the scale I know it & by the size clothes I have to buy (22) BUT I alwyas say "i'm not THAT fat"---I dont' look liker her/him.....

Anyone know what I mean???
I need to changet hsi way of thinking so that I can loose weight - I'll lose a couple pounds & then go back to that way of thinking and not even try...

Anyone have any thoughts?? :confused3
 
How about this...you want to make a healthy lifestyle change. Don't make it about losing weight, make it about wanting to be a healthier you. Diets do not work, lifestyle changes do. Know that you are going to eat healthier and exercise for the rest of your days. I know it sounds difficult, but actually it makes it easier. Believe me. I have been there.

I don't think it's good to place ourselves in categories such as "fat" or "skinny". I think we should all strive to be healthy. :)
 
Look at pictures.....I KNOW I need to lose weight - even when I look in the mirror. But it's not as bad in my mind until I look at pictures. I see the way I REALLY am when I look at pics. And it is a good idea to look at is as getting and being healthy versus losing weight.
