I voted very sporatic - but it's less than a couple here, a couple there. It's more like every couple of months I get involved in a debate and get a couple of supportive pms or feel the need to send one to someone. Over the years I have also exchanged pms with people I have something in common with asking for advice or expertise. Other than that, I generally just communicate through the threads.

I rarely get PM's, and I rarely send PM's.

I think I'm in the same boat as you...not sure if I'm pathetic or just not part of the "in" group!

I get a few PMs a week, but it's mostly from the couple of Disers I personally know. We use PMs instead of email.

I used to get more from people I have become "friends" with on the board, but we discovered that using Instant Messaging was much easier.

I do send and receive pm's occasionally, I voted the second option. However, I am really bad about deleting them so I am often flirting with the 120 max limit. I just have a lot I am reluctant to part with. I think that is pretty pathetic too.

Of course there's a big difference between sporadic and every day. I voted for the second option, even though sometimes I might get a few in a day and then a week or two might go by between PMs.

My PM's are sporatic. Usually a fellow WV native, or a Bon Jovi fan will give me a shout to say hi and we might exchange a few. Most recently I have had a few setting up a Wishes Cruise with a fellow Dis-er. I always get excited to have a new message!
