OMG, the food from the Publix deli is really good!
I had some of the best potato salad (southern style of course) I've ever had, and I'm a serious potato salad snob!
Not really an Orlando "attraction" but if you have a rental car and are willing to head off site, picking up deli stuff for meals to bring back to your room is a real winner, in our book.
Fried chicken, all sorts of bakery goods, soups, a salad bar, rotisserie chickens, every kind of picnic salad or bean you can think of in go containers of all sizes, gourmet cheese and deli meats...
Sorry, Disney, but the food from Publix tasted better than most of what you served us and cost half the price, or less.

...growing up in Orlando that was our primary grocery store and then when I lived in Charleston they started building them there. DH and I would frequently go there for lunch for their subs...they are tasty and not crowded like Subway! All of their deli stuff is tasty...they even have the best store-bought birthday cakes I have ever tasted.
Just look for some older folks -- still young in spirit -- waddling back to BWV.
