Hi Jaycns :) . Thanks so much.

Yes, we're definitely going to be doing a pretrip and trip report as soon as I finish this one off, which should be this week. Things are kind of chaotic right now because we bought a house and are moving into it a week from today which is INSANE because we haven't started packing. Ahh!! After that's straightened out I'll be filling everyone in on all my disneymoon and out west adventures!

All caught up again! Thanks for the Le Chef's dining review. We skipped it in December, so we might try again in October. It's been years since we've been there, and I really want to go back. Sorry you were disappointed with the lobster bisque. Was it still good, even though it didn't have lobster chunks in it? I'll have to try the perch if we go - it sounds yummy. Yes, those open boat rides are COLD if the temp is below 50 degrees. It's the wind that gets you every time! I hope you guys didn't get sick!!!

I'm sad that your TR is almost over, but I'm also very excited to hear all about your upcoming wedding! I hope the planning is going well!

Take care,
-Michelle

Wow, I’m don’t get on the computer for a couple of days and I come back to find three great installments, enjoyed them all.

I like “non-shopping” I have to work on that with my girls.

Looking forward to your next posting

No problem. Overall we really enjoyed Les Chefs de France and would recommend it. If you're a soup person I would say the lobster bisque was good, but if not I would definitely skip it and try something else. Perch was great though! Ugh, the boat ride was UNBEARABLE! never again. I can't wait to start my wedding pre-trip report...so I'll probably be finishing this one off today :goodvibes

I know, I've been doing a lot on the TR recentely because I'm in between jobs and don't start my new one till next week. So currentely I've been sitting around doing much of nothing, which while sounds good at first, after a couple of days becomes verrrrrrrrry frusterating, as according to Jeremy I'm "not allowed to spend any money until after the wedding". Thanks for continuing to read!

I'm loving the pictures in here. I like TRs with pics, gives me a mental idea of who I'm reading about. Not to sound like a know it all, as I usually come off, but the drink you had in France, 'Un Kir' was a Kir Royale. It's Champagne and Creme de Cassis. It's a nice drink, but not worth $12 of nice, unless they used some top name champagne like Moet or Pierre Jouet, but I'm sure they didn't. That would get mighty expensive after a while. Creme de Cassis is a black currant liqueur, and really only gets expensive when it comes from France(Burgundy region). Once again, I don't think they splurged for that.;) Anyways, thats the end of the lesson for today. I'm upset that the TR is coming to an end...but have enjoyed reading it!!

LOL I think the only people who read trip reports are those who are also writing them! :lmao:

I just found this along with some others (like Goof's) so I'm reading like crazy whilst poolside at our resort. Life is tough! :snooty:

Well, my beer is warm so I gotta freshin' it up. Great report. I to like lots of pictures. I like the colors ::yes::

My sister lives in Manhattan. You actually look like her also.

I'll stay tuned. Keep 'em coming. popcorn::

Wishing you luck :thumbsup2 on the new job, let us know how it's going when you get a chance.

Hope you are well!

Don't forget about us here on the DIS. I mean, I know we all have real lives, but don't make us wait too long!! :rotfl2:

Hi guys, I'm sorry I haven't updated recently. I started working full time and am actually at work right now sneaking a peek at the Dis. I also moved last weekend and had my bridal shower so it's been crazy chaotic! All of our things are actually still in our garage :rotfl: , with the exception of our bed! I'll update as soon as I get used to the new schedule and get settled in as I still don't have working internet in the new home! Ahhh, how to survive without the Dis!?!?

On our last morning we awoke again, pretty late. We had booked a late flight out (8:30) thinking we could enjoy the last day, not realizing it was the day of the Super bowl. D'oh!

Reluctantly we packed up all of our belongings and brought them down to bell services. Everything went okay until we told them we needed our laptop stored. They told us that laptops could only be stored at the front desk. Good enough. After waiting on the long line at the front desk, we were relieved to be getting done, until they told us that it must be done at bell services and they had given us the wrong information. So there we were back at bell services where they insisted it must be done at the front desk. This went back and forth for about three to four more trips before finally a kind woman at the front desk escorted us to bell services where they did in fact store lap tops in a security room. I guess old Bill was feeling lazy today.

We knew today would be a day for drinking. Two nervous flyers, we're always getting decently loaded before flying. Before our around the world though there were some loose ties we had to get through. We still hadn't seen the Nemo show yet and so we made our way over to the AK.

The show was great, but there was a mother in front of us with an infant who screamed the entire duration. This is one of my pet peeves. If you have a screaming baby, leave the auditorium. I understand YOU want to see the show, but so do the other few hundred people. It's just so selfish. During my brother's wedding an infant screamed the entire ceremony. Do parents really see nothing wrong with this? :headache: Anyway, :offtopic:

After the show we were ready to have some fun at EPCOT.

Once arriving we knew we had to say some good byes to some of our favorite pals

We also made our way over to the land. I absolutely love this pavilion. Soarin' is a great ride. I love the whole thing, especially if you're able to sit in the front (which, unfortunately, we weren't). After riding we went on Living With the Land. I love this ride! Call me nuts, maybe it's learning about farming and agriculture, maybe it's seeing the baby gators, or maybe it's just seeing the big old Mickey pumpkins.

P2040535.jpg

Once leaving the land we made our way over to the showcase, starting in Canada. We decided it would be a good idea to eat lunch before guzzling up. I had heard good things about the Fish and Chips in England so off we headed.

P2040538.jpg

We sat in the garden behind all the shops (a lovely, romantic and deserted area  ). The fish was okay. Definitely not something I'd write home about, especially for the high price (we no longer had the dining plan) but it did the job.

Now it was time for the real business! Off to the pub!

We were starting large, a round of drinks and a round of shots. The people in the bar drinking beers looked at us as if we were bikers in a children's soda shop. Look and learn people!

A few rounds later and we were feeling pretty good my friend. So good in fact it was get silly time.

P2040552.jpg

P2040554.jpg

We explored the UK area for a little while more before deciding to head back to the resort.

P2040556.jpg

A hop skip later and before we knew it we were on the not so magical express back to the airport. Going from Disney to the airport as everyone knows is like going from night to day. No smiling CM's here my friend.

The only thing to keep us going was knowing that the Super bowl had started and we needed to sit at a bar ASAP to catch as much of it as we possibly could.

Jeremy was pushing through those crowds like no man ever should. He meant business. He had already been hornswoggled on being on vacation on the superbowl, he was not going to miss what he could of it.

Finally we found a bar close to our terminal so were set. Personally, I don't see the big deal about football. My father and brother are OBSESSED with football and my brother's team is the bears. This was one game I actually somewhat cared about so I did my best to pay attention. Jeremy however had no problem. He really loves when I snap pictures mid-game.

P2040563.jpg

But I guess you can see that from his lovely expression.

By the time we left the Bears were doing well so we were confident they would win. princess:

We made our way onto the plane bummed out

(okay so maaaaaaaybe that first picture wasn't on the plane)

However, it was time for new adventures. Our friends would be escorting us through exciting times. A new home, a wedding and a honeymoon all next time my friends. Hope you enjoyed! See ya "real soon" pirate:

I’m with you on this one

Do parents really see nothing wrong with this? :headache: Anyway,

When our girls were young I think my wife would do just the opposite, if they made the littlest of noises she was up and gone

I absolutely love this pavilion. Soarin' is a great ride. I love the whole thing, especially if you're able to sit in the front

Make sure you go on it in DCA when you are out here

I had heard good things about the Fish and Chips in England so off we headed.

Definitely not something I'd write home about, especially for the high price

I felt the same way about this; I have had much taster servings here in California.

It’s been a great ride and I am looking forward to your trip report about your Honeymoon out on our coast.

Oh no it's over! Good luck with the wedding, just remember to enjoy yourself. I really wish I would have at my wedding! By the way you have a hidden Mickey on your shoe again in the pic with Mickey. That is so strange!
Can't wait to here about your new adventures!
Rebecca

NOOOOOOOO! It can't be over! We both can't end our TRs in the same week! It's heartbreaking! :sad2:
Boy, you guys are brave throwing 'em back before you head to the airport! I barely find my way around the airport sober! LOL! :lmao: I just love your 'silly' pictures! :goodvibes You two are so cute! I can't wait to see your wedding pictures (you ARE going to show us some, right?!)

Best wishes to you and Jeremy!

Take care,

Me too! Especially since my company sold a lot of the equipment used there.

They’re Lurpin’!!! They’re even better if you have beer to wash them down with. I don’t see any beer next to your meals though!! :confused3

CONGRATULATIONS to one adorable and fun loving couple!!:bride: :groom:

I came across your trip report the other day, but finally got around to reading the whole thing tonight. Another wonderful, hysterical and picture-filled TR that I loved!

I can't believe your wedding is right around the corner! Have a WONDERFUL time and I can't wait to read about it when you get back! :thumbsup2

Hello, I just found report today. I love the faking sick story. It was hysterical :rotfl2: . Where in NJ are you from? I'm from Wall twp originally which is 5 minutes drive to beaches like Belmar and Spring Lake (my favorite) and not far from Pt. Pleasant my DD7 favorite beach and boardwalk. Your Asbury Park reference made me laugh! That has to be the scariest town in the world. I love your pictures. Congratualations on your upcoming wedding :bride: :groom: .

I really enjoyed your trip report! The ending was perfect! I am looking forward to your next one already. :)
