After calling Disney on Friday to ask if there were any pins in my name, I was told that I wasn't even in their system. I told them, well I've saved dates on the website and ordered the DVDs and maps, and she told me that I wasn't in THEIR system. Okay... So when asked if I wanted to add myself of course I said yes, but I wasn't holding my breath.
This afternoon about 8 hours ago (what weird timing) I got a new Disney Destinations email. No big, I get these all the time and as mentioned in another thread usually they're just annoying reminders that I did in fact save those dates and here's a link to come back to it. But this time I had a pin attached for 30% off across the board on rooms! Not great, but for now it's good enough to get me booking a reservation while I hold out for FD.
