And so it begins!
First note: You know that voice recorder I said I was going to bring because I forgot a lot of stuff from previous trips and "this trip will be different!" Yeah, didn't bring one of those! Fortunately, between DW and I, we'll be able to remember most of what happened, but occasionally I may time travel a bit because of something I remember later! We do have notes though, so that'll help. Also, bear with the first few pictures, I know they won't be terribly exciting, but I want to present everything as it happened! You seasoned air travelers will probably be asleep by the second or third pictures from the airport and planes, but I'm putting them in anyway!
I also apologize in advance to anyone with a slow connection, your computer will probably burst into flames before it loads all these pictures. If you have dial-up, I suppose you could click on each page and go take a nap until it loads.
Another quick note: I'm actually using one of my souvenirs while writing this report!
I love the way the keyboard looks, but ugh, the stickers keep coming off and when you type at 60+ words per minute, that's not good! Oh well, I'll see how long they last and enjoy them while they do!
We were mostly packed on Thursday morning, just a few odds and ends to put in the bags. We got up at around 7am to go have breakfast at McDonalds with the in-laws. Having breakfast at Mickey D's before each trip has become a small tradition for us and by jove, we aren't going to miss it this time either! I'm sure flying with all that extra grease in you has got to be beneficial! After breakfast, we double-checked our list of things to bring sat back to relax until around 1:30pm. After the trouble I had with my ADR's being all messed up about a month ago, I made absolutely sure that I had this:
I just had this vision of us getting there and them having no record again of any of our ADRs! It would have been great fun trying to get ADRs to all those restaurants during Spring Break with no real notice!
At 1:15pm, I called for our taxi and we waited at the door, getting very excited!
By the way, notice in this picture that we have 2 suitcases and 2 carry-ons? That ended up being a $110 mistake!

Somehow, we kind of neglected to think about what we'd do with souvenirs, considering that both of our suitcases were completely packed full. We ended up having to buy another suitcase.
I really like having a WDW suitcase, just wish it hadn't come with a $100 pricetag! Next time, we're bringing an extra empty suitcase!
The taxi arrived and you now get a glimpse of what we were leaving behind! Of course, this isn't news to you Winnipeg'ers that are reading!
Bear in mind, this is a picture from after most of the snow has vanished! We left the house without jackets, I was only wearing a t-shirt! If I remember corrrectly, I think it was only -3C that day though, so that wasn't too bad.
