A few days ago my inspiration had dried up and I had used all my Star Wars pics in a "book card" I had made for our DD to give to GS. At that point, GS was interested in absolutely nothing else but Star Wars. And then ..... all of a sudden he likes the game Pirates of the Caribbean which I have for my Nintendo DS. Inspiration returned. 
Having first found a pic of Lego Jack Sparrow and a palm tree, I downloaded a kit for the rest of the card from Craftsuprint. I printed the base sheets on to thickish card for strength and printed the decoupage, Jack Sparrow and two sizes of palm tree on to 190gsm glossy photo card. Really I would have liked the photo card to be a bit heavier but that is all I have. Then I cut everything out and assembled it, adding gold Glamour Dust to the gold coins in the treasure chest. I have to print GS's name and put it in the space and try and do something with "Appy Burfday", which DH doesn't like. But on that last point, I don't think I will be trying too hard.
I am pleased with the result especially as a couple of days ago I hadn't got a clue as to what to do. The photo makes the card look quite flat but it actually stands up so that the elements are quite 3D.
