Hubby called yesterday to cancel a waitlist, so we could add a night to our March trip. We usually pay cash the 1st night, in order to save points, but no more, as it's a waste of money, since we've already given Disney enough money. 
As they spoke, our July waitlist came through, so we are now in AKV 1 bedroom for 12 days - yeah!, but these were borrowed points, so it meant no more points for March to add the extra night.
So, I had a brainstorm last night, to knock the 1st two nights from AKV, and stay at BLT, as it will allow us to immerse ourselves in MK for 2.5 days straight. After a long drive from Canada, this will be great! But, we were worried about getting a room at 7 months, but all worked out well!
We got our AKV waitlist, dropped 1st two nights, and got BLT, plus, we got the 1st night for March! We got everything we had hoped for, for both 2011 vacations!
It was a great phone call this morning, and we are so excited. Last month, hubby and I were struggling with how much money we had spent on DVC over the past 6.5 years since becoming members. We were regretting our purchase, and feeling sad.
Since then, we have had many heart to heart talks, and have changed things up a bit - dropped pretty much all dining, and will be eating most meals in our villa, except for a few CS meals, and Kona Cafe. This will save thousands, and has gone along way in making us feel like we love DVC again. It will bring a fresh perspective to our trips! As well, we are now borrowing points, and using whatever we need to stay in 1 bedrooms, as we want to cook, and love having the extra space, and laundry.
MS was great today in helping us make our changes! So, to those of you waiting for waitlists to come through, and hoping for 7 month bookings, best of luck!!!
