I am heartbroken to report that the announcment to our children (ages 7 and 9 ) that we were going to Disney for two weeks over Christmas resulted in sobs of disappointment.

So, it is with great regret that we cancelled the trip we made plans for almost a year ago. <br> The kids want to enjoy the traditions of putting up the tree, baking gingerbread, baking cookies on Christmas Eve, and waking up to a room filled with presents. <br> Although we are sad ( the parents here...) we *will* be saving lots of money I guess....
<br>So for now, I will just watch our clock tick away, and thinking about the irony of trying to make ours the best Christmas on earth, realizing our kids feel that we already have them
