Not long ago I was sent a PM regarding purchasing someones DVC contract - that they have for sale.......... or so they say! I let them know I wasn't interested, and to not PM me again - but, I have a feeling this happens more than anyone knows as well......... SO - be careful everyone!!!

I'm glad you posted this.

I've seen post by someone, talking about her "clients." She often post to others, saying she sent them a PM. Of course, I don't know the content of the PM, but they are always in response to someone who has questions about booking an upcoming trip. It made me suspicious because, although she seems eager to help, I seldom see her post to questions like, Chef Mickey or Crystal Palace - How do I get from Epcot to DTD - Do most 5 y/o like Space Mountain, etc.?

She seems harmless enough, but often provides incorrect information.

I've never had this happen -- yet -- and I'd probably just ignore it because I'm a control freak.

But it's good to know that we should contact DIS if TAs try to solicit us so they can be warned/removed. I probably wouldn't take this step unless I'd read this thread.
