Thanks bro --------its not the broken foot that has had everyone laughing but how Norm tells about EVERYONE " SHIRLEY TELL THEM HOW IT REALLY HAPPENED" - I wish someone would have been around filming so I could have seen my face after it was over - I made a promise to a couple that wanted to be married at daybreak like 6:30AM Fridan morn - I really really didn't want to do it since I already had so much on my plate, but feeling sorry for them, I said OK --Norm's truck has never ever failed me, but when it came to get out of the truck Friday morn, the door would not unlock and the windows would not roll down - motor on, motor off - OK a little panic is setting in since the bride and groom are sitting in front of the store, car doors open and pacing - its already after 6:10Am and we still have to get inside the store and get her flowers - I noticed that I could bring the window down on the passenger side down - so I jumped over to that side, rolled the window down (the motor is still on) and climbed out then jumped to the ground - OUCH I fell the wrong way - I thought I had just sprained my foot so I hop over to the couple, open up the shop, grab the flowers and we are off ---now I knew it was going to be on the beach, but did you know when you have a sore/broken foot that walking on soft sand is not the thing to do - i did break a branch off a tree to make a cane, got the couple married, got back to the shop, signed their licenses and off they went - nope didn't even charge them cause I felt so guilty that I made them worried - got home and hummmmmmmm the elevator isn't working so up 5 stories and exalty 70 steps later, I AM HOME - I tell Norm and after he makes sure I am ok, he rolls over laughing - then its time to get back to the shop - I worked Friday and Saturday on what I thought was a "sprained foot", but since my granddaughter's best friend was getting married on sunday night and I had to do it, I just wanted the dr to give me a boot I could walk with - I was stunned when he told me I had broken it in 3 places -

- I didn't believe him so he showed me the X-ray to prove it - the elevator is fixed after being down 2 and one half days,
I am wearing the boot that Norm had to cut down to fit me and I am back at work so everything is Kool --------except the hot boot, but I am lucky enough I can go in the cooler and cool it off - my sons didn't know anything and when we had breakfast Sunday, they walked me to the truck and asked me to demostrate exalty how I did it --smarties --
Thanks for all the sweet notes and thanks for all the thoughfulness each have shown and little bro - you owe me big time big mouth
Hope all have a great week and we are still here if we can help.
Oh BTW - I did find out several things - the new motel owned by the radisson next door to Ron Jon's will not be opened for about 6 months, but WOW its going to be beautiful - the Moon Hut Restaurant is now going to be opened as a Mexican Restaurant and man oh man how nice it is looking - you are about one quarter of a mile South of the Radisson. As places open, will keep you updated as I find out what all is happening here -
Always
