Karen, another great update!!! Wow, your pictures around WS are beautiful!!! I have kind of explored around WS a little, it is neat. I love France, that is my favorite one!!! Can't wait to read and see more and hear all about the Garden Grill. I ate there once, I enjoyed it. When I was down in Dec. I went past it on my eay to ride Soarin and it smelled so yummy. Everything was so booked and crowded though since it was Christmas and I had planned the trip so late. Oh well. As always you are a bright spot in my day. Can't wait to read and see more of your adventures.

Hey Karen, its just me again, I keep meaning to ask and keep forgetting. Since you are all from New Orleans, have you seen The Princess and the Frog yet?? Just curious as to what you thought, it is my new favorite Princess movie, it was awesome and I really feel like while writing that they were for sure thinking of doing some revamping over in NOS at Disneyland. Just curious as to what you thought.

We actually saw the movie right before we left for Disney this last time! REally cute movie!! :0) I really liked it!!!

The KP missions look cute. But I hate that in the Japan shop (my fave in World showcase) there's a little doll that burps. So annoying!

Never saw the burping doll...lol...that sounds interesting! We may have to do KP sometime...I heard it's a neat way to see WS! :0)

Yay! I found you! I am so glad you are doing the TR. I haven't started mine from DisneyLand - things have just been too crazy, but I LOVED the GC and DLR. Gasp - I loved it more that WDW. DH thinks I'm crazy, but I really did. Thanks for your tips!

LOVE the WL pictures. This is still #1 on places I want to stay list, but I think we are going to end up at CBR in May. We are planning a trip to catch a Space Shuttle launch.

Great report so far (as usual), looking forward to more!
Way to go...running the 1/2 marathon!!! I wanted to do it this year too, but maybe next year?

Tuesday, September 15, 2009 - Jason's Birthday Celebration

We left WS and headed for the Land to eat dinner at the Garden Grill. This place was my mom's pic. She LOVES the Garden Grill so we have to go there every trip when we are with her! lol

We walked to our table and saw this! I know our waiter thought I was crazy for taking this picture...lol

Haha Dale tried to "kiss" my mom so my dad started to fight! lol

After we ate, we hurried out of there to the Monorail to the MK for MNSSHP! This is a picture I took of the Epcot entrance fountain on our way out!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

I thought the CM's costumes were really cute!

We took some photo pass pics then got our candy bags!

I loved the scarecrows on Main Street

We walked towards Adventureland first though I can't remember why because we ended up in Tomorrowland for most of the night...hmmm...

Anyway, right as we walked in, it started to POUR! It hadn't rained on us at ALL yet and it took that moment to start! Ugh..... So we ducked under a cover and took a picture with Rafiki! lol

Then Jason and I took out our awesome ponchos...

Oh yeah baby!!! lol

...and we walked back to Tomorrowland for Buzz!

I was TICKED in this picture cause Jason CHEATED! I've ALWAYS beat him in Buzz and so he didnt' want me to win so he kept turning the vehicle away so I couldn't hit anything. I was so mad at him!!! lol

We went to Monster's Inc after that. My dad is so crazy...they kept putting the camera on him to get up and dance through the ENTIRE show. I know he got up at least four or five times! IT was crazy but SO FUNNY! He kept everyone laughing. After the show, people kept telling him how awesome he was and how funny he was! lol

As we were standing in line for a picture with Pooh and Eeyore, we saw this guy and he was posing for a picture so I took one too! I LOVED Napoleon that was like our group's movie for ever...lol He was a perfect Napoleon!

After some candy and a few pictures, we lined up on Main Street for Hallowishes!

This is Halloween Halloween Halloween! lol

Because of this one part of the show, everything got really really smokey so I didn't get any more good pictures of the fireworks

After Hallowishes, we went to Liberty Square to watch the Parade. It was packed! This little boy sat by my dad and just absolutely made friends! It was so cute! His name was Brian and he kept offering my dad candy and kept telling my dad stories. So funny! My dad knew the kids entire life story by the time we left! His mom kept saying "Brian leave him alone"! but my dad didn't mind at all!! lol

Here comes the headless horseman only you can't see his head in his hand! Oh well!

Their shovels made sparks on the ground!

After the parade, we got more candy and walked around a virtually empty park. I believe we rode Big Thunder as well.

We got back REALLY late and we had a VERY early morning the next day so we went right to bed!

Up next: Kona Cafe, Tonga Toast, and Animal Kingdom!

Another great update!! This will be our 10th trip to the world and we have never eaten at Garden Grill...but I'm gonna put it on our list for future trips. The food looks delicious.

Thanks so much!! The dessert at Garden Grill was some kind of Blueberry cobbler thing with cream on top or something like that...I just remember it was sooo good!!!! It didn't rain much at all during MNSSHP so that wasn't too bad. Halloween time is SO cute at Disney I do agree although my favorite time still is Christmas! :0) I LOVE Christmas!!!!! Thanks again!

I'm really not that slow we just got stuck in the last corral and we had to constantly weave in and out of walkers! OH well!!

Wow - congrats Karen! Love the look of triumph on your face! I remember how cold it was in Dec. 2008 when we went to MVMCP, just freezing!!! and we were NOT well prepared! Such a bummer to be in WDW with such cold (or monsoon like May 2009)!!!

We LOVE Garden Grill too, but so far don't have it in our plans for May - we are only planning 5 days in the parks, 2 with my parents who want to do Biergarten when in Epcot, and so we weren't sure we would have a 2nd day in Epcot (we aren't getting park hoppers) so we made an ADR at Chef Mickey's instead. However, one look at that dessert (it is different than last time we ate there) and I am seriously questioning our plan!
