A couple of recent developments that improved my countdown: DS-29 has agreed to join DS-26, DH and I for the beginning of our Fall road trip. Since he only has a couple days, we decided to start earlier and head down on Friday night instead of Sunday. Also our plan was to drop DS-26 off at the Charlotte Airport in the morning and then head to Santee, SC for the night on 10/26. DH said, "wouldn't you rather just drive from Charlotte to Orlando and get there a day earlier?" Yes, of course!
