A non-political thread.

Yesterday I had a Raccoon on my deck. I am going to the doctor's tomorrow my neck is killing me.

we had a skunk smell in our neighborhood yesterday afternoon.......:scared:

(I hope your neck feels better)

My son, too, is really into snakes and would be in heaven if I caught him one. He wants a milk snake for Christmas.

Count me in as having a snake-loving DS. Here he is with a garter snake he caught in the back yard:

Chicago was a blast! We saw the sunset from the John Hancock building on the 96th floor; it was awesome!

I've got to find the white USB cord for the camera/computer. My kids could not get over how many people were there and honestly, neither could I. Aren't people supposed to be working in those tall buildings? Its been a while since I've been in a bustling city. Pad, I'll see what I can do. :goodvibes

thanks LB that would be cool..............my closest to Chicago was about 16 yrs ago, we were taking a cross country trip, Mom was driving at the time, & we circled around O'hare about 5 or 6 times :rolleyes1

'look kids.........Big Ben........':rotfl:

I'm working on downloading images, but I guess I didn't take many city shots :guilty: .

Here's one---> from the J. Hancock tower in the Ladies Restroom.

I'll try to come back later tonight to tell the story of how this shot became a shot to remember. This view is looking down to the Navy Pier. Funny thing though, there were no Navy ships in sight.

My neck is doing somewhat better I had some x-rays taken. No news yet. The doctor also gave me two muscle relaxers. So I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Thanks for asking..

Also I think this is my 300th post. Only took me 3 years.:rotfl:

this so needs a bump.

I have a shaved kitty who has two enlarged mammary glands (hopefully just a reaction to the meds she is on):lmao:

The crew isn't here for the weekend.. :( DD was too sick, so DGD won't get to decorate her "beach" birthday cake until next weekend..

On the bright side, it will be a couple of days before my birthday and DGD said it will be a "combination" birthday.. She's such a sweetie pie..:lovestruc

I went to the Florida Sportsman Expo with my husband today. All fishing stuff. The most boring 3 hours of my life since my dad used to drag me to the fishing shops as a kid! It was torture:eek:

I just bought Disney on Ice tickets for next month for a show 2 hours away.
Then I find out it will be in MY city a month after that!
Oh, well, I'll get to go to 2 different shows now! :cheer2:

We are being infested with big gross spiders. There was a huge one in a huge web out side our sliding glass doors. And I found 2 smaller ones in the house. :scared1: Bugs don't generally creep me out, but spiders like these are just icky and gross!
