Not a problem at all, we have shared our news with everyone about what a great deal it is. I'll leave it at that and this issue is done!!! We love DVC and nothing will change that. No more post on this subject, because it has obviously caused offense when I was trying to do good. Hope to see everyone there!!!

Depends on the state she lives in. In Connecticut, where we live, you cannot get any kind of compensation, monetary or otherwise, for a referral.

Disney does always send a nice thank you note though.

What if both parties live in different states? Say, I wanted to refer my parents who live in NY. (Assuming NY accepts referral bonuses) Does it matter if the referee lives in a no bonus state, or the referer? Does this make sense???

I got DH's blessing, it's looking good. I'll be talking to my SIL to see if she is interested in the extra 100points...

It is one or the other. You don't get a referral bonus for doing an add-on since your SIL is already a member. The bonus points are worth closer to $900 to $1000 anyway.

NY can accept referral bonuses though, and it does not matter where the buyer is. It only matters where the person who is recieving the bonus lives.
