:wave2: Welcome to the Summer dieting thread, I can't believe it's May already, the Summer will be here before we know it :cool1:

So, how is everyone getting on so far this year ? If you'd like to share with us a quick re-cap as to which diet you're following, how much you have lost since you started, how much more you are hoping to lose over the next few months or what your next target is, then it will be great to hear how you're getting on ::yes::

I must have started 20 diets so far this year :(.

Now I have a short break planned to WDW in October I must knuckle down and get on with it.

I'd like to lose 7lbs a month and am planning to follow WW online.
 
Good morning :)

I'm kizzy, I've been doing WW since November 28th and I have lost 1 stone and 13lbs. I have 2 stone 1 lbs to go to goal and have gone from a size 18 to a 14.
I'm thrilled just to write that!

My goal this week is to make good choices at home and eating out (3 restaurant meals this weekend - if I can choose a salad at least once it would be an improvement - still learning to be accountable for my choices) and to do more toning exercises. I had a loss of 1 & a half lbs this week.

Hi folks - i've lost a good bit since starting in Jan 2013 but am failing miserably these past two weeks. 1.5 up last week and 1 up this week. I have about 8.5 to go to get to target.

Loads going on for me the past two weeks which hasn't helped and this weekend is my eldest two kids birthdays so more meals out. I'll be trying to plan for this but in reality i know it probably wont' happen so i'll write off this week I think, otherwise I'll get stressed out and not want to go out.

Hopefully next week will be better ;)

Hi everyone, finally back on the boards after a bit of a hard time... But I'm back.
I am following myfitnesspal as a lifestyle change and aiming to do 10K steps a day. I started this year on the 2nd of Jan at 187lbs :scared1:
I've now lost 25lbs/ 1 stone 11 pounds and am currently 162lbs.
I aim to be around 150 by July/August...it's getting harder to shift these stubborn pounds! This is the lowest weight I've been in about 6/7 years so I can't give up now. Plus I have a trip booked for next year which I want to be able to loose, maintain and tone up for :cool1:
Keep it up everyone :dance3:
 
I started SW last week (not going to the classes just doing it myself at home) and I've lost 4lbs this week :cool1:

Ooh, can I join?

I've just started WW online, again. I lost about half of what I wanted to lose 2 years ago, then found it all again. I'm starting over now in hopes of at least being able to keep up with my kids on our trip in November. I've gone back to zumba and begun swimming a couple of times a week too. I've lost 4 lbs this week, but I know that won't continue every week.
 
Very nervous for WI tonight. Had a binge since Sunday. Fingers crossed it's not too bad. Our class closes tonight so I'll now WI on a Monday at a different class. Looking forward to having a new leader who will hopefully help get me around this bit of a slump I've been in lately. Good luck everyone xx

Edit: up 3.5lbs. Well that's proof that I need to stay on the bandwagon :-(
 
Got wi tonight at my new class. It's only been 4 days but my own scales say I've lost a little so hopefully it's moving in the right direction. Good luck for the week everyone!

Great loss, good on ya. Is Zumba good? It sounds like great fun.
 
I lost just half a pound last week, a bit disappointed to be honest, but it's all gone to hell in a handcart this week! Felt so tired and low, and I know that is not an excuse, but I've not tracked anything and just eaten what I wanted. Been out for dinner twice and even shared a bag of chips with husband!!! Weigh in on Wednesday will be horrendous! I'll keep you posted.

How did you do Kizz?

Was down 3 Pam so I'm fairly delighted. Still a half lb off what I had been down but not as disastrous as I thought it would be. 2.5 to go for 2 stone off although with dlp in a week I could be in trouble! New leader is lovely :-)
Good luck for this week Pam and don't be too hard on yourself. Look at how far you've come and how much worse it could have been if you hadn't decided to join ww. Fresh start Thursday ;-)
 
Hey everyone!

I can't believe we're heading towards summer already! You certainly wouldn't think it looking out of the window today!

I loosely follow SW and lost 7lb before I went to DLRP in March, since then I've been struggling to get back on track and have yoyo'd the last few weeks with 3 off, 1 on, 2 off! Unfortunately this week is not looking good for following plan as just had pizza and garlic bread and there are 2 birthdays in the office this week, so 2 lots of cake. Think I'll have to be polite and decline (or take a bit as to not be ungrateful and bring it home for my dad!)
I'd eventually like to loose a total of 1st 8lb (I've already lost 1st 8lb leaving my residential job) so I guess I'm half way there! That's my long term goal, but for now just the 8lb by the Haflinger Breed Show in July would be great!

I love bread too! You can tell I am limiting myself to just a couple of slices a week, I am seeing the word everywhere! Didn't do WI this morning, felt very rough last night and this morning. I really need to stay on track for my next weigh in.

Well, it's 14 days since I posted that I was following WW online. Today was the first day I actually followed it for a whole day :(

Hopefully I'll start following it properly now. Wish me luck.
 
Come on Libby, you can do it! We are always here to offer support and butt kickings if needed! With missing my weigh in this week, I'm more determined than ever not to go off plan before my next meeting. WW are doing a 16 week challenge at the moment - well our area is, not sure if it is a nationwide thing - to lose a stone. I'm not sure I'll do the full 14 lbs but I'm determined to do as much as possible.
