Ha ha, you and me both, Libby!!! Things going OK, but I can't shake the black dog at the moment. That always leads to overeating. On the upside, we are off to London later to see a concert tonight and stay over. I shall do all I can to have a salad and nothing more!!!!

a lb gain for me this week, but to be fair, I was expecting worse! There were 2 birthdays in the office and lots of cake and biscuits and I'm having a rough time, so all in all I'm not that worried. This week WILL be better though and I'll lose that lb (I WILL LOSE THAT LB!)
 
I have no doubt that you will lose that pesky pound next week and more besides! Keep on it, keep focussed and we can all do it.

Starting afresh today:) Used to always start over on a Monday but that just gave me the excuse to eat everything in sight on the Sunday!! lol No more excuses-you're right we can do this :)
 
Lost 1.5 this week after a couple on gains during family birthdays etc, so back on track now. 7lb to go, good luck for the week ahead folks :)

Weighed in this morning as I'll be in DLP tomorrow and will miss my meeting. I am officially down 2 stone :yay: hopefully I won't put too much on at DLP but I'm only going to practice a little restraint ;-)

Great loss, good on ya. Is Zumba good? It sounds like great fun.

Zumba is so much fun, if you get a good instructor. I spend half of the time laughing at my own lack of coordination, but it is a great workout too.

I was doing ok at sticking to a reasonable diet until this weekend. I don't know whether it was too much yummy food or what, but I was up sick all night. Talk about encouragement to stick to a diet. Ugh.

Hope everyone else is doing better than I feel right now.
 
Made it through day one without blowing it which sounds so small but it had been such a long time since I've actually stuck with it that I'm feeling more positive about today! Hope everyone had a good Monday :)
 
That first day is always the biggest step. Well done and keep going :thumbsup2

I have now stuck to my plan for 5 days - hopefully I'll see some results when I weigh myself on Wednesday morning.
 
Well done on keeping on track. Me too, but by heavens I fancy a toffee right now!!! Again no formal weigh in for me this week as I'm taking husband for a pre-op appointment on Wednesday morning, but I might do an informal weigh in by myself, just to keep myself on track.

Thanks for the support. I'm doing my own weigh-in on a Monday as I'm just following the ww program at home atm. Last time I was a member and kept losing the same 5 lbs so trying it this way to see how I get on. Feeling more determined at the minute :)
 
Thanks folks, feels good to be back on track. We'll done everyone sticking with it. It's worth it to see that smaller number on the scales and on your clothes :)
 
I always think that when your clothes are smaller you can fit them in your suitcase more easily (and more of them!)

Weighed in today and 1lb off. That's ok. I keep saying I'm going to start exercising and never do, but I might try it this week to see if it helps shifting these last pounds.

Was up 3lbs! But only back off hols so it's an acceptable trade off. So now it's time to knuckle down. I have no plans now until August when are friends are getting married so that's my motivation. Want to lose between 14 and 18 lbs for it.
