I have lurked on many of the political threads, but haven't commented. I read what others have to say with interest but feel that most people can't be persuaded one way or the other by arguments. However, I have to share the discussion my kids just had.
My DS6 was just discussing the mock election they had at school yesterday (they were out of school today). He told me that he voted for John McCain.
My DD4 jumped into the discussion as she is prone to do. She's told us that she is voting for Sleeping Beauty.
Her brother desperately tried to explain that she couldn't, but she wouldn't budge. I'll guess I'll have to explain the write-in option.
Sleeping Beauty for President 2008! Perhaps she could be the first female candidate.
