so i was walking around IOA today and see an advertisement in the seuss land for a show that hadn't been there before! i went back and watched it and it looks really cute :)
there were who people that paraded around before the show and then a narrator popped out onto the stage. she did this really cute song and dance and then read green eggs and ham. then the seuss characters appeared!
there were thing 1&2, cat in the hat, the grinch and dr. seuss (i think- it's a furry yellow dog type thing). they were absolutely adorable! i loved the yellow dog- he was carrying green eggs and ham (i'm assuming cause of the story that was read). and then they came down the stage for pictures and there were bubbles and lots of music. the kids around really seemed to love it!
then the characters all went back on the stage and listened to the narrator read "the places you will go" and i got a little teary eyed during this. then the characters all started dancing around and did a little ending act :)
it was a very cute little show. not a lot of people were there and i am assuming it is because it hasn't been advertised.
of the whole show, i think my favorite thing was the yellow dog. he kept hopping around doing a funny crazy dance and his feet were all crazy.
i would totally go back and i think it's a nice little show for families to go see.

sounds like Sam I Am
Dr Seuss was the Author, and asfar as I know, was never potrayed as any type of non-human character.

In the past we've seen them read a story right before a character meet and greet. This was right in front of the one store that the Grinch is in at Xmas.

Was this him?

it was sam i am (now that i went and looked at the book)- but the bigger dog that is white (the one in the pictures) wasn't in the show, but i saw him walking around later signing autographs.

i'll get pictures up later (if i can). it was the cutiest thing to see these characters dance around for two different songs. although, i stayed around after the meet and greet cause the narrator mentioned more dancing. but many other people walked away after getting pictures taken and missed such a cute ending to the show.
this show was over at a stage behind the one fish, two fish ride.

I've never heard of that. I LOVE "Oh, the Places You'll Go!". This is such a nice idea. Were there showtimes and everything on the map?

There are several new shows and characters during Spring Break:

Oh, The Stories You'll Hear is on the main stage in Seuss Landing. There's a Live Band near Lucy Tribute, Blues Brothers are doing nighttime performances, Street Breakz is back,a DJ inside Mel's Diner and The Vinyls performing oldies out front with roller girls, and lots more photo ops w/ characters.

They really pull out the stops during busy times but I wish they could keep some of this going regularly, at least on weekends.

Do you think these new features will continue into April? We are scheduled to be there April 14-18. TIA!

We will be there 3/28-4/1. Is this still considered Spring Break :confused3 .

I would like to see something new.

This is the ONE thing about going the last two weeks of AUgust that kills me.....

I can take the parks closing earlier but dont know WHY OH WHY cant they at least have these "extras" on the weekends.....I would love to see Universal 360 also.
