A NEW refillable mug question....

At least I think it's new. Is there any way to "pre-purchase" the mugs before your trip and have them as a "surprise" in your room after check-in? Just like when you send flowers or a snack basket or something. We've never bought them before and we're staying for 9 days at the BC while only spending 4-5 days in the parks. With SAB and 4 kids I think it would be well worth the investment and way better than running back to the room for cold sodas when someone is thirsty. DH will just see a pricetag, I'm sure, but if I can work it in as an "early gift from Santa" how can he argue?

My sister called the resort ;last time we stayed at WL and right after we got in the room they delivered 3 mugs to our room in a basket. Nothing will be in the room because the room is basically assigned when you check in. We've gone 3 times and ordered baskets and none were waiting for us.

It's possible they are in the rooms at GF (may have heard that somewhere) and maybe in club level rooms, but they are definetly not right there for the taking in every room.

They aren't in the concierge rooms. I've only stayed in those rooms at GF and WL and have never had them in the room. We've always purchased them at the food shops.

About 6-7 years ago they were in the rooms(Atleast moderates). They had 4 of them wrapped up on the table. A note said that "if you unwrapped it, you would be charged at check out. These are good for the legnth of your stay for unlimited drink refills" or something along those lines.

I haven't seen them since then in the rooms.

They were doing this at one point. I've seen mugs in the room in CBR, GF and WL....but it was quite a while back. They haven't put mugs in the rooms in several years.

A number of years back, the cups were in the rooms at the CBR (if you wanted to open them), but I haven't seen them in the room in the last few years.

They also offered rain ponchos in the room at that time, but apparently did away with that a few years back also.
