A new fan of the Dolphin

Just back from a great trip. I stayed in the Dolphin for 2 nights before moving over to BWV to join up with family.

I can see why people are big fans of the Dolphin! It is really a wonderful place to stay. I asked for a renovated room, so I got to experience a "Heavenly Bed." What a treat! My room (8164)overlooked the front entrance, which was fine with me. I was gone a lot anyway, but I did get a great view of the Wishes fireworks in the distance.

I also like the variety of restaurants available right there, and having Tubbi's open 24 hours.

Of course, the location is excellent too. I found the bus service to be great, not to mention being so close to 2 of the parks.

I'm so glad I got to experience the Dolphin for even a short stay. I'm going to try out the Swan for a couple nights in April, and then hopefully return to one or both in the future.

Glad to hear your good report of the Dolphin. We'll be staying there in June, unless I can get a good AP rate for my dates for AKL. We stayed at the Swan last trip. Good memories include the grotto pool, the S/D grounds, the location, & the good bus service.

With all the refurbishment going on at the S/D, they should be more popular than ever. I hope those great rates don't disappear.

Me too! The discounts are excellent. That's why I decided to go ahead and try both the Swan and Dolphin while the discounts are still going on. Just in case their discounts discontinue at some point...
