A new Earl of Sandwich fan is born!

Somehow we have never tried EoS until today; it's always been really busy, not time to eat, etc. Today we were at DTD at lunchtime and decided to give it a try. We were a little hesitant because the line was out the door, but we decided to go for it. We were amazed at how fast the line went...the kid working the order counter has fingers that literally fly over that order keyboard! We were through the line in under 15 minutes, which we thought was mighty impressive!

DH and I both ordered the Holiday sandwich (turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy) and DS ordered the Club. Upon taking our first bites, DH and I looked at each other, our eyes got big, and I swear DH actually moaned from pure taste pleasure! Then DS announced that he was never, ever eating at Subway again!

OP, the holiday sandwich sounds amazing. We became fans of EoS on our last trip. We wandered in there to grab a bite just because it was convenient. I'm not a fan of sandwiches at all, and braced myself for a mediocre meal. Oh boy, did I get the surprise of my life. This was no ordinary sandwich.

Unfortunately for us, we won't be there until March, when the holiday sandwich will be long gone. Is there another sandwich on the menu that even slightly resembles this??? Just curious.

I too think it is the bread that they use.....must have something addictive in it.. because we always need to go back

EoS is a must-do for our family every time! We were just there for the holiday sandwich for DS birthday. I'm a fan of the Original (love that horseradish sauce)

I didn't see anything else on the menu that even remotely resembles this. It's a shame they don't offer it year-round, because I would eat it every time we visit! It was soooooooooo yummy! I've been thinking about it all day today and I'm starting to think that the 2.5 hour drive to Orlando might be worth it just for the sandwich!

They are supposedly building an EOS in Boston although I'm not sure when it'll be completed.

My 1st EofS was a couple years ago at DTD. I am now a huge fan. When I was in Vegas recently I made my hubby take me to EoS in Planet Hollywood. Love their sandwiches!!!

I absolutely LOVE EoS!!!! I first went in 2008 and instantly fell in love with their sandwiches. We went this time when we were at our DTD day. I got the Earls Club!!! The one thing we got that we fell in love with was the Earl Grey Lemonade. That was very good!!!! I finished that before we got back to the resort (we took our sandwiches back to the resort to eat). I am with a PP...I wish there is one closer to me.
