We couldn't wait for the pulmonologist visit today and had to take DH to the emergency room yesterday.

He is now in a different hospital and his left lung is almost completely filled with fluid. After more diagnostic work this morning they will drain it and try to find the reason his heart sack and lungs keep filling with fluid.

This is Round 4 and these doctors seem so sure they will find a cause. Why am I so pessimistic?

I am working a full day and then will drive down almost into DC to visit him.

It looks after some testing that he needs major surgery in a day or so. He is so unhappy right now but I think this hospital is approaching it as a team; we'll see!
