Hi everyone!

Thought I would update you on my absence....

Around 10:00 pm last night DH - John had surgery to drain 30 ounces of fluid from around his heart and remove/repair a bit of the wall around the heart. He is doing well considering.

He is still in recovery with a drain and will be moved to intensive care. There was no sign of pneumonia nor lung problems although the fluid may have come from a viral infection of some sort.

It's likely that he will be in the hospital until Thursday or Friday.

And to think his doctors were continuing to prescribe antibiotics for two weeks without an x-ray which would have shown the enlarged heart

As the surgeon said, we would have ended up at the hospital in an ambulance soon anyway because he couldn't breathe at all or worse......

I might be on the DIS later to update all but greatly appreciate the well wishes and prayers!

Any upcoming trips to Disney?

Oh!! Me!!! Me!!!
Driving down 08/04 and coming back 08/09.
Staying one night off property then 4 nights at POP.
Our AP's expire on 08/09 and we are probably not going to renew this year so we have to make one more trip, lol.
It's only been a few weeks since we were there but seems like forever.

He is eating now but they can't keep his blood pressure up. He is in CICU and getting great care but of course, I will worry!

I've decided to go back to work part-time this week and visit with him the other half of the day until he comes homes hopefully at the end of the week.

Hopefully the DIS will distract me!

I am glad your husband's issue was caught and they were able to do surgery to repair it. Thank goodness he did not just get a med refill. I will keep praying for him.

Willow,
My husband (who is a huge Joss Whedon fan) just informed me he wants to name our future daughter Willow. I am not pregnant yet and cannot even be sure it will be a daughter if and when I get pregnant. We are hoping anyway. My sons are Xander (from Buffy) and Connor (from Angel). I've never known anyone named Willow. The name sounds pretty, but I just want to know what you think of your name if you do not mind sharing. We were talking about Siena for years then he just hit me with the change. I am seriously considering Willow now.

Willowsnn is just a combination of Willows End. When I was trying to find a screen name years ago, that was the closest that Yahoo would allow.
I would love to be named Willow it is a beautiful name but I don't think it would suit me (Pooh would be better, lol)
I love Xander, Connor and Siena tho.
