A new Bump thread!

I was at work Friday the 13th and I am totally not superstitious despite being Irish however...our kitchen went down in flames at the Outback Steakhouse last Friday...

I hope no one was injured and that the kitchen gets up and running again soon.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes for my mom. My mom is moving today from the hospital to recover in nursing home to get some rehab. She was okay with that. She is still slightly disoriented but I am certain she will recover soon...Appreciate the kinds words

OH no! I was speaking metaphorically. "Down in flames" in restaurant lingo just means overwhelmed by orders in the kitchen and understaffed which equals upset customers!!! We are all just fine, but thank you all for your concern!!!

and my mom now wants me to bring her bag of potato chips. Oh yes she is getting better. The docs said she would not be able to open her left eye for at least two weeks. She had it opened in 48 hrs. Yes she is a tough old bird as the doc said...
