A new Bump thread!

Friday 13th not soo good for me. My 85 year old mom who lives with me fell and she landed on her face. She broke her cheek bone and nasal pasage. Her eye swelled shut. She looks like prize fighter. On a funny note, while sitting in ER she asked me for her pocketbook so that she could put lipstick on. Her actual remark was "You never know who you might run into".. I burst out laughing....

She will be fine no concussion and no other broken bones. But it was wild weekend for me to say the least

What is the temp there? bump

I have no idea what the temp was like outside, since I never went out there. It was 72 in my house when I finally got up. I bumped it to 73. Then, I felt hot within the hour and put it back on 72. When it comes to inside temps, I can be cold or hot at the same temp. I think it just depends on how hard the air is blowing. It blows harder when it is working harder to keep the air cool, so I think it must have been hot outside today.

It's kind of strange today as well, the wind is blowing and so much cooler than it would normally be here for this time of year. It may be your hormones kicking in for the temp for you.

We're in the first day of another heat wave; going up close to 100 today.

The Doctor tested my hormones and said the results were normal. Something else must be wrong. I've been pregnant twice during the summer. Granted my second pregnancy ended just as the summer was starting, so that was better than my first where I was pregnant the whole summer. I need to get my health issues under control before I get pregnant again.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes for my mom. My mom is moving today from the hospital to recover in nursing home to get some rehab. She was okay with that. She is still slightly disoriented but I am certain she will recover soon...Appreciate the kinds words
