Answered and made 67 calls today; I'm so tired of the phone.......don't know how people stand their iphones all day long!

Thats one reason I no longer have a phone. My job made me on call 24/7. Even on vacation. When I quit , I dont need this anymore.

Well, I'm not on call at least! And it's only this month while I'm at work supporting our returning temporary employees.

I would never take a job that had me tied to a phone at home or for that matter, to a computer at home so I understand your feelings!

I liked my job, just not being on call like that.

I miss certain things about my job, but all the calls are one of the things I miss the least. I worked from home the last two years, so I answered calls anytime I was in my home office even odd hours and Sundays. Evening bump.

I dont miss those calls. Sometimes it meant going into work and not getting a paid a dime more. bump

Answered 60 calls today and was actually yelled at by several people when I nicely told them that they still need to do the online application to keep their jobs! Talk about killing the messenger!
