Only 55 calls to answer at work today but I had help! Someone else is answering the voice mails and the emails so that leaves me the live calls! My voice is so tired but at least the 'powers that be' above me realized that I could not do it all!

Cannot believe we had been saying this mess would happen for months and no one would listen.....

Thank goodness tomorrow is Thursday!

That is so true!

Well, today was better; fewer calls!

I went to the doctor to get a cortisone shot for my painful knee and that is helping. Growing old is not for the weak!

Now I have to tally up all the calls for this week and last for the powers that be and analyze them to show I was "overwhelmed"! This I can do!

Cannot wait for the weekend!

I agree! New servers seem good for the most part (a few error messages here and there) but better than yesterday!

Just tallied my calls at work for a report I have to send in: 411 calls during the last two weeks! And to be micro-managed on top of that!

After the crisis is over at the end of April I am going in and speaking with the powers that be and asking for permanent status or begin looking for a new job! My manager, who has no say in any of this is supportive and encouraging me to do so but it is unlikely that I will get this....

Sorry you are still having issues at work. Our manager quit in Feb after 2 months out on "stress" related disability. New manager starts tomorrow. I don't know her but hear she is supposed to be very nice & a very fair person. We have lots of issues on our unt so I hope she's up for the challenge. I am taking on the uion rep spot on our floor (I've never done that before) so I hope she's easy to get along with. Good luck!
