On the 12th of March a new baby killer whale was born.
We went to seaworld when the baby was 2 days old and it was so cute. Seaworld had cancelled the Shamu show because the baby was born at the stadium and they had to wait a couple of days before they could move it. Instead they had a baby presentation where you could come and look at the baby and ask questions about baby whales. They also showed a video of the birth which was amazing.
The baby is now being watched 24/7 by trainers to make sure it's ok. They have to do that for at least 90 days. They still don't know the sex cause they can't get close to it. The baby can't stop or turn yet so the mum have to be next to it all the time. Mum and baby are doing fine.
It's so exciting
Have anyone else seen it? How is it now?
