A negative opinion of WDW, not mine, how concerned should Disney be?

On DCL cruises, I often organize a local candy, snack exchange. I was in our local chocolate candy store, buying my loot. I guess it's not often that someone buys 14 of the sample boxes, the clerk was surprised, and I shared what I was doing with her. She was interested to learn this, she has never been on any cruise, will consider DCL, but told me she was "finished" going to WDW. She had gone on spring break and was so disappointed. Too expensive and "for those prices you expect excellent customer service."

I did not elaborate on my experiences, I told her I was sorry to hear that, and talked a little about the candy exchange, and Fish Externder experiences.

Sometimes you read about those sentiments here, but this was in a local candy store, I mentioned Disney and got the rant, not the story. How concerned should Disney be? There seems to be a fair amount of negativity out in the world.

I think any business will have unhappy consumers, Disney is no exception. Some love it so much they are willing to pay the increased prices and still go as often as they can. Others will reach a point where it is no longer worth it to them anymore. Like the PP said, if they aren't making as much money, they will do something about it. I personally have never had any problem with Disney customer service and for now, I'm willing to pay the higher costs to get there, I just love it there. I feel bad for people who have lost their magic. I'm sure it happens all the time.
