Rebecca is your friend a Disney lover like you? I hope it all works out.
No, she doesn't get passionate about much. It's really kind of strange we are friends at all! She's a very guarded person, she had a rough childhood. I know she would have a great time. We go to Cedar Point almost every summer together.

I might have to cancel Mama Melrose for Boma. Is Boma on the DDP? :upsidedow DH loves Italian but Boma looks delicious!

Yes it is on the DDP. I love Mama Melrose too, but Boma would win out for me!

Alrighty then, our flight leaves Chicago at 1:45ish and we will arrive in Orlando about 5:30. This evening we will just rest and swim. The boys love to swim so this was easy to decide! I'm going to send a box of breakfast stuff to the resort. Last year we drove and I brought stuff from home and we hauled most of it back so I'm doing much less this time! Hopefully we will get our luggage from Magical Express before falling asleep fairly early. The next morning I will get up early and get to the front desk to check us in for our package part of the trip. Saturday is a room only ressie. Then we are off to MGM!

MGM was our first park last year and it is again this year. Unlike last year this is our only day at MGM so we will try to cram much of it in today. Last year Justin got to pick our first family ride. He chose Tower Or Terror, he talked about it for months, he was finally tall enough to ride it and was excited as an ant on a skillet. We got in line all was well, we went up all was well, we came down and he became un-alright. He didn't cry or scream he just had the look of fear in his eyes. We got off and he told me he never has to do that again. So, this year he says no ToT, we'll see he often changes his mind.

This year Brendan gets first pick and he has picked Rock N Roller Coaster. That's my boy, he was tall enough to ride it last year and he loved it! I love it too. We will have to do child swap since Jman isn't tall enough yet. That's okay though he really enjoys the gift shop and Aerosmith music. He has a CD I burned for him that has all Aerosmith, you have to teach them young! We will get fastpasses to ride this bad boy again later.

After RNR Coaster we will try ToT, if it's a no go that's okay. Then we will head over to Star Tours for fastpasses before joining the Muppets for their movie. We will try to sneak in Star Tours before lunch. It will be an early lunch since we have Mama Melrose booked at 4:10 for the Fantasmic Dining Package. We ate here last year and thought it was good, not great but good.
Here we are last year enjoying our lunch at Sci Fi, it was great for atmosphere, food was just okay. It didn't make the cut this year though.

After luch we will cruise on over to the Magic of Disney Animation, I could spend lots of time here.

There was no one waiting to see Mrs. Incredible so she came up behind Jman and helped him with his coloring. He acted like she did it everyday and just smiled and let her help him!

Sometime today we need to see Lights, Motors, Action! The boys loved this, I thought it was too darn hot! I will see it since the boys really want to though!

The rest of the day we will try to do the Great Movie Ride, The Little Mermaid, RNR Coaster again, and whatever else looks good. Then we are staying for Fantasmic and that will wrap up MGM for our little group!

Ugh, why are my pictures so small. Now I have to try to fix that.

All fixed!

Rebecca it sounds good. We always do MK on our first day. It looks like MGM is going to be your family's first day tradition. :thumbsup2 We also did the Fantasmic Dinner Package last year. Just a little tip for you.....if you get there early you do not have to sit in the section for the diners. You can sit in the middle section or anywhere you choose. We were heading to the section and a cast member told us that we didn't have to sit there. He said you will have a much better view if you sit in the middle. So we did. Not to worry if you're not there early. I really don't think any seat is really a bad seat, just some better than others.

Pooh..not to be confused with our FOP..GW beat me. The kids look just like me..x's for eye..bodies..background.

I want pictures please:teeth: Thanks for the update..I got to see you too!!!

Thanks Tricia, last year we went kind of late and just sat in the assigned seating. It was good but I have had better seats! I think this time we will try not to be as tardy!

See Judi, I do exist!
Love the pictures!
Thanks Heather! Glad to see you here too!

Thanks for reading. I love reading other peoples pretrip reports. I vacation vicariously through others.

I love your pictures, Rebecca!!
Thanks Melissa!
:thumbsup2 Love the pic of Mrs. Incredible helping your DS!
That was one of my favorites from last year. It's those special unexpected things that get me everytime!

Okay, remember when I said I loved my baggallini? I've changed my mind. I had only worn it around the house. This time I actually tried it out in the real world. Everytime I bent down to help the boys it would slide where I don't want it. I love the size and compartments. Plus I'm thinking it may be too hot in August to have that on my back. So scratch the lovely baggallini. Isn't it pretty though?

I'm going to go with an ugly fanny pack/belly bag and my tried and true Disney bag. I'll put all valuables in the belly bag and things I don't care if they are stolen in the Disney bag. That way I can leave it in Super J's rental stroller. I may change my mind again because that's what I do and I can because I am the only female in my house and I say so.

If there are any baggallini tricks out there that anyone knows of can you please let me know. Thanks!

I love your pre-trippie. I am too nervous to start one myself. I like to just lurk and read everyone else's. We leave in 21 days!!! I cannot wait. We are live in Middleville, Michigan (if you know where that is). Not too far from you. Can't wait to read more. I just bout a baggalini, too, but I don't know if I am going to like having it strapped to me in 90 degree weather.:sad2: :scared:

Rebecca I'm loving the new title. I see us groupies have made it in the title. :cool1: That deserves some points to you for sure.

Why am I only seeing red X's where the pictures should be?

I grew up in Wayland which is very close and I had 2 cousins that went to Middleville. I'm actually closer to Plainwell. My kids go to Plainwell schools and we have a Kalamazoo address.

I was very close to getting the Baggallini. I bought the Overland Equipment Donner instead:

(Sorry about the links - the little photo posting icon is dinging at me and not letting me post pictures. Not sure why??? :confused3 I've asked about it on the Tech Board, but it hasn't been resolved yet. :sad2: )

I haven't used it int he real world yet, but I think I am really going to like it. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of room it has, yet it's still fairly slim. I think it will be the perfect size for what I need to carry with me. I'll probably try it out at the Taste of Chicago this weekend. :thumbsup2
