A MVMCP question...

Can someone also tell me if the last night of the party is the busiest/most crowded? We are going the week before Christmas (16-23) and will probably only be able to catch the last night or maybe the Sunday night? I heard somewhere else on this board that they will have one the Sunday night and the last night will be on Tuesday? Which night would be best for us? The Sunday or the last night on Tuesday??? Help me decide!? First Christmas trip to WDW!!

The last party always sells out. If I had to choose, I'd pick the Sunday one.

Great thread, I've been wondering many of the same things and this answered them all, except one! Does anyone know *about* when the tixs go on sale? Do the AP tixs go on sale at the same time as those to the general public? Thx!

Is there anything that is only on during the party and can't be seen by going into the parks during Chriatmas week?

Subscribing, too! We are crusing late nov/early dec and want to see this show while we are there. We are looking to plan our flights aroudn this!

To my understanding, Mickey's 'Twas the night before Christmas show in Tommorwland theater can only be seen at the party during the first few weeks of December (they also show it on Saturdays throughout the month). Also, MVMC Parade can only be seen at the party until the week of Christmas when it's run daily. The fireworks show "wishes" has a special Holiday ending and again, during the first part of December can only be see at the party. They aslo have a stageshow on the footsteps of the castle but I'm not certain if you can only see this show during the party. Lastly the have a Fantasyland Holiday hop with the characters that I believe is only on during the party.

Help me out DIS veterans, if I've missed the bar on any of this stuff.

If you are at WDW during Christmas week then you should be able to see and do all the MVMCP shows without attending MVMCP.

They have the parties for those of us who go to WDW earlier in the month and that is the only way to see them. But if you are there Christmas week, they'll be shown during the day.

We were there this past Dec on the 2nd Sunday and found the park to be empty, all rides were walkons and some we just stayed on and went around again!

Oh man, I'm so glad to see this thread! I've been wanting the 2006 MVMCP thread! I've been twice, but that was before the DIS! lol. Now I'll know more and appreciate it more. I love the DIS!
OK, so, what can't you do at MVMCP? and what can you do there but not at another time? (Other than Christmas week. We'll be going week 2! )
