Tracy

MAN KAT! I skip a couple days of Dis and you update 5 times:) Great updates! hose lil' minnows are extra adorable!

So glad you got to meet "Jophia" as I like to call them! meeting them was the best thing the Dis has done for me!

Also glad you finally got to see FOLK!!

Jenn, I can understand your love and affection for them -- they are great people!

I'm glad we finally saw Lion King too. And those minnows were extra adorable.

Morning Kathy !! Home from work and exhausted !!! The girls came home from the Football game with a Kitten They named her Tinkerbelle !!!! So I am liking her already !!!!

Isn't that sweet? And you know they did that just so you would like her. ;)

Hi Kathy! I'm glad you like Juliana's thank you letter. She wanted to send you a toy but I had to talk her out of that! :lmao:

BTW.. up to this point Mark has wore 18 different hats!

That looks AWESOME!!!!!

What a great picture! This just SCREAMS CSR to me... someday we will be back as it doesn't look like it is going to happen in December.

Good idea getting drinks before going to MK.

How nice... another DIS meet!!!

Think they were excited?
They are just TOO cute!!!

How cool.... all 5 of you sitting and eating Mickey bars! :mickeybar :mickeybar :mickeybar :mickeybar :mickeybar

In the last picture the girls looked pooped! I can only imagine what 2 will do to you- my 1 tires me out daily! :lmao::lmao:

Isn't that sweet of her wanting to send me a toy. :cloud9:

I'm going to trust you on the number of "Grumpy" hats thus far. :)

My dessert at PM was heavenly. And, yes, always a good idea to have a drink before going to MK.

The girls are just great! And it was a wake-up call for when we have grandchildren! But I wouldn't have had it any other way because it was so fun.

Has Tim started a new game ???:rotfl2:Keep tabs on how many hats Grumpy wore !!!!:lmao:

No, Rosie, not a new game. I forget how we got started (maybe Tim did suggest a game?), but I told him to keep track of how many hats Grumpy wore.

All caught up and my ticker turned to 1 Month 4 weeks today!:cool1:

Hooray for the ticker turning to 1 month and four weeks!!!

that reminds me, we need to eat up our mickey bars we brought home with us, hope they dont have freezer burn:rolleyes1

Darn...you brought Mickey Bars home with you? You know, I'm not that far from you, and you could send a few my way. ;)

Really enjoyed the updates, and I'm impressed with how many rides you could fit into an evening.

But did Mark HAVE to taunt me with the Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup champion t-shirt? You're killing me.

(I'm a Flyers fan). :sad2:

Thanks...glad you enjoyed them.

And I'm sorry about the Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup Championship T-Shirt--NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Sorry, we don't get many championships in this city and I enjoy the ones we do get (except for the White Sox--never will cheer them on).

Tracy

Tracy, they are the cutest darn minnows I've ever seen.

Boma is heavenly and I wish I could eat there every day.

How soon before your trip?

Just kidding. Being a Philly fan, I can understand about not getting many championships to celebrate.

You were an updating MACHINE again! My goodness! What fun fun meets, pool time and full long days. Wow! I'd have been wiped out too and I am used to touring with little ones. Well not that little but...

I agree--7 Dwarfs is a framer (and I edited it on Photopass and hope it turns out goode). I've never done Boma dinner (don't like sweet food).

Hmmn....we ate at Boma last year, I wouldn't consider it sweet at all. Savory and in some cases spicy but outside of dessert I can't recall eating sweet. Of course it depends on what you get I guess and how you define sweet, which is subjective. I'm not a sweets person at all.

Great new updates, Kathy!

Those two little girls are adoreable and WOW, you did a lot of touring during those days.
Tom and I were so tired and didn't do much the first few days! We needed quite some time to get used to the heat! :lmao:

Oh, I know you were kidding. And believe me I DO understand being that we are diehard Cub fans.

They were little, but oh so cute.

See on Boma,I've had a lof people tell me that the meats taste "sweet."

Believe me, our next day (yet to come on the TR), we were dragging, but we perked up again later in the day and you'll see why when I do that update.

:snooty: nope maybe ill take apicture of us eating them for you.
:thumbsup2

Now that is just darn right mean. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

All caught up, Kathy! Great updates.

The breakfast at Boma looks delicious. I wonder if that juice is similar to the juice at 'Ohana breakfast or at Tusker House breakfast? I love both of those.

Fun day at AK, and then at MK. I know that you and Mark had so much fun hanging out with Mary and A and C. They're cuties! :)

Loved all the hat pictures, but have to admit that Mark's shirt was the funniest thing!

I'm back! Man did I have a lot of reading to do with all your updates! Loved the pics and all the updates! Ready to join back in with all the fun.

Thanks, Michelle. I'd have to look up the menu and see if it is the same juice. All I can tell you is that it is terrific.

We had a black with Mary and A and C...they are precious.

I forgot...which t-shirt was that?

MARV, I missed you buddy. Where the heck have you been? I know...your son's school for the weekend. Welcome back. So no comments about anything? That's not like you. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

It took a good 30 minutes just on your thread to get all caught up on what I missed while I was away! :sad2: You think at my age I can remember that much stuff so I can comment on it all?

What were we talking about, anyway?

I wish with all my heart we had had more time with Joe and Sophia! Their trip had such a rough start!

I love that you hit it off so well, and could spend some with them!

Time for an update (although it may not be a full one; long day at work today and I have to get up at 5 tomorrow a.m. to go in to work early).

So when I last left you, we had dropped off Mary and our little "minnows" at Casitas 5 and went back to our room and to bed after a long day and evening. So that brings us up to Day 3.

This was our Epcot Day and we were spending the entire day/night here until heading to Downtown Disney.

We had a 7:30 a.m. ADR at Kona which we were really looking forward to after reading that's nice's reviews the last couple of trips and Mark really wanted to try the Big Kahuna. But there was just no way we were getting up at 6:30 in order to shower and get to the Poly for our ADR time. We were totally worn out from our time with Cayley and Avery. And believe me we were not complaining because it was so much fun to spend time with them and see Disney through young eyes again. So we slept until 7:45 and showered, I made coffee in the room and we then headed here:

After parking the car and walking through bag check and the turnstyle, we had just missed rope drop by about ten minutes. Our first destination was, as it always is, going to be Soarin'. However, as we were walking that way, I took a peek in the windows and saw no line for these guys and we've never stopped for this and I said to Mark, "this is our opportunity...let's take it."

Please note...I'm not crazy about the pics that came from my camera but if I'm not mistaken the Photopass ones are a little better but I still don't have my CD.

So we got our pics with the Fab Five and headed here:

We got FP's and then hopped in line because it was only a 10-minute wait. :goodvibes

After riding Soarin', we went to Sunshine Seasons because Mark had not had breakfast and he really needs to either have milk or breakfast with his medicine in the morning. He got a bagel and cream cheese, coffee and orange juice (notice how I made a Mickey out of the bagel and cream cheese ;)).

Since we were already here, we decided it was time to listen to "The Land."

DSC01194.jpg

As Sophia (Ohiodisneylover) mentioned in her TR, it reallys seemed like "The Land" was rather barren while we were there...as if they had recently uprooted a lot of the vegetables, fruit, etc. But we still enjoyed the ride and here are a few photos:

I'm glad we had time with them too. What a lovely group they were, and they sure had their share of issues early in the trip.

Ah, that night brings back such great memories. It was great to have 2 helpers with the girls and all my luggage :rotfl2: It was more crowded then I had experienced before. Sorry you missed your Kona ressie. Tell Nicki to get on the planning for next year!!

I forgot...which t-shirt was that?

It would be the one that says "Old Guys Rock"! Love it! :lmao:

Great update on your Epcot morning. Soarin' is the best-and it's great to be able to grab a FP for later and still jump in the stand-by line! :)

Mary, Mark still talks about all the bags. ;) Seriously, we had such a great time that night and more to come. Good ...NICKI get rolling on our dates so Mark can make a Kona breakfast and have his big Kahuna.

Oh yes, that shirt...one of his favorites (we got that on Marco Island last year).

Thanks. I love Soarin'; like Philharmagic, I could do it over and over again.
