A Mouse, Two Little Minnows who wear out Grumpy and Test Track Moves to Naples 11/26

Love the pics & I'm so glad you enjoyed MNSSHP! When I went back in '04, it was the most favorite part of my trip. As a side note, all 6 of us sat at the same exact spot for MVMCP last year! Great minds think alike.

Thanks. It really was fun.

Good move! You have done your research! :worship:

Love the pic!!!!!!
Awwwww why?

No doubt you'd be doing this!

We skipped the dance parties last time... there just wasn't enough time.
It gets really packed in front of the castle. We found that out last year and we basically standing in Tommorwland watching the fireworks.

Interesting colors... I didn't see that before!

The DIS is a wealth of information. Mark isnt' into all that "princess" stuff so no "girly" pics for him. Of course, we did Dumbo--I wish we had done it a couple more times. I hope next time to do the dance party.

I can't believe that 10:30 parade was so packed! Maybe it had something to do with Disney getting ride of a few weeks of parties.

Love the parade pics!!! Isn't that parade awesome?

More hat pics... love the witch hat Kat!!!

I think I get sad every time I walk out of MK, even if I know I will be back there the next morning.

You guys had some serious PIXIE DUST seeing your friends before leaving... Love the pic with the fireworks going off in the background!

I knew you would like the party! So would you do it again?

I couldn't believe how crowded the second parade was; everyone said it would be so much emptier. :confused3 I would DEFINITELY do the party again. The parade itself is worth it.

I just  the pic of you guys with the 7!! All the hat pics are also very :cutie: Boo to You is my new favorite parade. SO glad you got to see Pooh nad Tigger!!

I agree with you Mary--Boo to You is my new favorite parade too.

I've heard of women hanging onto 49 a number of years in a row instead of getting older, but going backwards??? :confused3
Yeah, big-mouth Rosie spilled the beans in DC! :sad2: (and I meant that in the nicest of ways Rosie!)
If it weren't for all the idle threats........... :rolleyes1

Oh, I wouldn't count on IDLE threads, Marv. And I count forward. If you remember I was very upfront with my age in my PTR.

Awesome pics and description of the party....makes me miss having an Oct trip

Well, I thought we were spending ALL of October there in 2011...we could go several times. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Wow Kathy, you were on an updating roll. All of your pictures of the park, the decorations, the characters, the fireworks and the parade were great. Again, I would love to go to Disney during Halloween. It looks like so much fun.

Yay for you getting to have your picture taken with Tigger, Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore!

Lisa, you really must try to get there for a party. Perhaps a long weekend?

ill caught up finally and loved all the updates...that was really neat about the dwarfs i didnt know they all got together like that.

we hope to hit that party on our next trip as well as the food and wine festival

more to comment on but that is all i remember now.

oh yeah, i have a picture with the blues brother statue there as well.
:thumbsup2

Welcome to my TR, Dan...nice to have you here. I was so thrilled we got the seven dwarfs...it made Mark's night. Your kids would love it!

MNSSHP looks like Fun. :thumbsup2

I forgot to mention in my TR that I found a Hidden Mickey made of Turnips (I think) right under Rabbit...just out of your picture. I didn't get a shot of it either.

I'll seen that too and actually tried to get a picture of it but it is so hard when you are constantly moving.

I love the updates. It is almost as good as being there myself. :goodvibes I was kinda bummed to not have gone to the MNSSHP. If we had chose to go a week or two later than we did, we would have been able to. Oh well... there are always other trips.

I love the pictures of you and the dwarfs! Very cool!!!

Thanks; see, going to the party is a reason to book another trip. :)

So I was curious and wandered over to see if you had any pictures of grumpy dads at the monorail station... :rolleyes

And instead I got cool pictures of the Halloween party! Looks like fun!

It really was a fun party. Nope, didn't get a picture of a "Grumpy" dad on the monorail. ;)

Kathy, love the pictures, especially the one of you guys with the Seven Dwarfs. All the years we have been to MNSSHP, I have never managed to get one of us with them. Maybe this year!

Love the Halloween decor you got at KMart. All our KM's went out of business. Maybe that's a good thing since they have such cute Disney stuff!

Thanks Amy. But if you have a Walgreens they have a lot of that stuff there too.

Great MNSSHP pictures! Hallowishes and the Parade look like so much fun, I really hope I can go next October! :cool1: I'm glad the line wasn't too bad for the Dwarfs, I'm hoping to meet them at the Christmas party this year but if the line is long, I'll have to skip it! :confused3

I love your picture with Pooh and Friends in their Halloween costumes, how lucky that you were there at the right time to catch them! :cool1:

The timing could not have been more perfect to see Pooh and gang.

Great picture! They didn't have the Dwarfs out at the MVMCP, but I would have loved to get this shot!

I'd love to know what that girl on the right is thinking! :rotfl2:

Talk about major pixie dust!!! :goodvibes I love their costumes! :lovestruc

Thanks, Denise. I didn't even notice that girl until you brought it up.

Kathy
Great pix of MNSSHP – it brought back memories from my trip in Sept 2008 when I went with my sis and girlfriend. The rest of the trip I was always humming the “Boo to you” song! Looked to see if I had a good pic of the headless horseman, but mine is a little blurry. I would love to return and take Samantha same day.

Can’t wait to read & see more pix especially the hat pix :goodvibes

Hi, Janet. Samantha would love it. At least you got a blurry "headless horseman."

I'm loving your Halloween party pictures. The dwarves one is so cool. I have seen a few of them, and I just love them everytime I see it. I wish they would come out more often.
I love Mark Dumbo hat. That is too cute!

Thank you. I wish they'd be out more often too. Actually Mark's hat is "Eeyore ears" and not a Dumbo hat. They no longer sell them and someone at the Crystal Palace is always trying to get him to give them up. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Sunday morning was going to bring us one of the things we were most excited about. Our seconde time having breakfast here:

Mark and I did this for the first time last year and absolutely fell in love with it (plus we just LOVE the Animal Kingdom Lodge; we have stayed at two deluxe resorts in the past -- the Contemporary and the Polynesian -- we have ONLY two more we want to try, the Beach Club and the AKL with a savannah view).

We had an ADR for 7:30 a.m., so we drove over to AKL and were there by around 7:20. We checked in at the desk and at exactly 7:30 a.m.

First, we were brought this:

This juice is worth it alone going to this buffet (between the two of us we had five glasses).

My first plate which consisted of french toast, waffle, bacon, ham and potatos.

Mark's first bowl and plate: oatmeal, eggs, pancake, waffle, potatos and melon.

My second plate consisted of toast, fruit, a chocolate chip muffin

Mark's second and third plates consisted of fruit, toast, some kind of pastry--cinnamon roll, maybe, grits and strawberry/banana yogurt.

I also had a very tasty

After our server brought us our bill, he brought us a special plate of desserts for our anniversary. Truthfully, Mark nor I cared for any of them, but it was very sweet of him to bring it out and we at least tasted everything despite being full.

After breakfast, we took a walk around the resort and I snapped a few pictures:

Someone walked by when she saw that I was about to take Mark's picture and offered to take one of the two of us together:

***I forgot that we stopped in the Gift Shop as I was looking for something for a friend (he stays at the AKL often). While, there we took three hat pictures:

Up next, our morning at the Animal Kingdom and two super exciting DIS meets.

You got one really cool picture of the train station with the ghosts - spectacular. Loved your pictures with the 7 dwarfs. What a fun evening. I'm not sure if I am completely caught but I need to stop reading now. The alarm is going to be painful in the am! Yikes1

Great updates Kathy !!I LOVE Boma for breakfast to and agree the juice alone is worth it !!!

Kathy I will assist you in taking care of Marv's thread when he is in Disney:rotfl2:Be warned Marv paybacks are a *****:lmao:

Breakfast looks really good! Is the juice the same that they serve at the Safari breakfast at Tusker House? "jungle juice", I think they called it. (really POG) My girls had never had that when we went last month and quickly decided it was their new favorite drink.

Cant wait to read the next update!

Holy cats was I behind! You are an updating MACHINE!

Whew!

Love the Halloween decorations you snapped up at KMart

ADORE the 7 dwarves pic! A framer if you ask me.

I have the urge to ride Dumbo now.

And I got misty when you saw Pooh and Tigger!

Boma looks yum! I've only been there for dinner but everyone seems to love it for breakfast too. I'm not a huge buffet person but I would love to try that juice.

:goodvibes

Thanks Kathy, I think I see a trip to Walgreens in my near future!

Nicki is rubbing off on you (in a good way of course) you have posted some awesome food porn!

Darn, I just changed my Boma breakfast to Cape May. I want to stay at AKL someday too!

great update! those waffles looked tasty...

:wave2: Connie

I know, I'm probably the weird on here, but I really like the duck in the pool picture. That's so Disney to me. I love it!

Great updates! :thumbsup2

I love MNSSHP. It was a lot of fun and it looks like you guys had a great time too. :goodvibes How cool that you saw Pooh and friends all together. I've never seen them together for pics, outside of the parade. I'm so glad that you got to have your picture taken with them. :wizard:

I love BOMA.:upsidedow I also really enjoy roaming AKL.

Looking forward to reading more. popcorn::

Wow, look at all those great pics! Have some catching up to do, but I can see it will be fun, as always. :)

You know, yesterday was my second "real" outing and I went especially to Wal-Mart ( a place I NEVER go) to look for some of the Mickey Halloween you posted - not a single Mickey item to be found. That's because you wrote Walgreen's and I read Wal-Mart! :confused3 :rotfl:

Now I get to have another outing tomorrow, :) to Walgreen's - please keep fingers crossed there are still some left as these will make a special trip across the Atlantic. :thumbsup2

LOVE the pics, Kathy. ::yes::

Oh Kat, what a fantastic surprise with pooh and gang!! Seems like dumb luck! great pics form Boma, we LOVE it there! One of our fav breakfasts hands down!

Well Boma breakfast looks considerably better :thumbsup2 ...than what they had for my Dinner there. :guilty:

Glad you had a good experience...again.

Hey Kathy, where is the bacon, sausage cassarole and the carved ham...and the goat cheese eggs from Boma? Come one girl, I need my salty meat fix :lmao:

Nicki is rubbing off on you (in a good way of course) you have posted some awesome food porn!

They are totally drool-worthy arent they? How can I look at Boma pics and then eat my stupid Special K for breakfast? Cruel I tell ya, just cruel

Ahhhhhh Boma breakfasts.... mmmmmmmmmmm

I remember those from when we stayed at AKL summer of 09. In fact we loved the breakfast there soooo much that we're going to kick off our trip at Boma the morning we check-in @ CSR before heading to DHS.

Thanks, Mary Ellen. It was so neat to see the train station that way. Hope you got to bed and got some sleep.

Great updates Kathy !!I LOVE Boma for breakfast to and agree the juice alone is worth it !!!

Yes it is, Rosie. I will be glad to have your help. ;)

I've never done Tusker House so not sure if it is the same (the description is below a few threads.

I agree--7 Dwarfs is a framer (and I edited it on Photopass and hope it turns out goode). I've never done Boma dinner (don't like sweet food).

Thanks Kathy, I think I see a trip to Walgreens in my near future!

Nicki is rubbing off on you (in a good way of course) you have posted some awesome food porn!

I love Cape May too, but Boma is just extra special.

One of these days we will get to AKL...I'm saving now since we have a year and maybe we'll stay there next year.

I know, I'm probably the weird on here, but I really like the duck in the pool picture. That's so Disney to me. I love it!

I'm with you...I love the duck in the pool. :)

Thanks, Sophia. You'll have to catch Pooh next year if you do MNSSHP. They appear right by the Roy Disney statue.

Wow, look at all those great pics! Have some catching up to do, but I can see it will be fun, as always. :)

I hope you find something to send over the Atlantic--I can't think of anyone more deserving.

Oh Kat, what a fantastic surprise with pooh and gang!! Seems like dumb luck! great pics form Boma, we LOVE it there! One of our fav breakfasts hands down!

Thanks, Jenn. It was just dumb luck!

Yum! I've never been to Boma, but it looks so good! :thumbsup2

Denise, you should try it sometime--it is yummy.

Boma looks fabulous! What kind of juice is that?
It is called West African Frunch and contains a combination of lemondade, pineapple, guava, orange and papaya juice. I'm not much of a juice drinker...but it is out of this world.

Well Boma breakfast looks considerably better :thumbsup2 ...than what they had for my Dinner there. :guilty:

Glad you had a good experience...again.

Thanks, Nate. I have a good friend who should remain nameless who told us she hated Boma at dinner so we've never gone as, for some reason, I trust her judgment. ;)

Hey Kathy, where is the bacon, sausage cassarole and the carved ham...and the goat cheese eggs from Boma? Come one girl, I need my salty meat fix :lmao:

There was bacon and carved ham. I'm not big on sausage but I think Mark had some on his plate.

A perfect time to go to Boma for breakfast. Hope you got an early ADR so you can miss the crowds like we did.

GREEDY, aren't we, my dear? I'll try to get one up tonight after I pick Mark up from umpping his baseball game. I think that is a little more important as that money goes into a CERTAIN fund--it's call the "See Nicki fund."

:yay: for Boma! I've eaten the equivalent of 15 dinners there over 5 visits (I'm talking 5 ADRs, not 5 WDW trips), but have never made it for breakfast.
