I love that candy corn hat on Mark! That's hilarious! My goal is to get there for Halloween/Food & Wine in 2012, since we'll be there next August 2011... I can't wait to see more!

So we left the Studios right around 1:00 to head back to the CSR for a scheduled DIS meet at 2:30 for anyone who could make it as well as a rest before the MNSSHP later that evening.

So Mark and I went to the room, got in our bathing suits and headed over to the pool. I got myself a Pina Colada (they have the best Pina Coladas at the Dig Site...and I forgot to get a picture of it!).

We met up with Pixiedust34 (Kelly) and had a very nice visit with her. I also met Kyle and his lovely wife (I'm sorry I forgot her name). Kyle probably wouldn't have found me if it weren't for our gift from Karin & Tom -- my backpack with my DIS name on it. I really enjoyed meeting all of them.

I missed a few updates, but I'm all caught up now! I love the Great Movie ride, it's too bad more people don't like it. Although, it is nice to hardly ever have to wait in a line to go on it!

Love your CSR pics, that pool looks amazing! I really think I'm going to stay at CSR the next time I go to WDW, every time I see pictures of it I'm wishing I was staying there in November!

OK I have a hard time checking the DIS from work because my work computer removes everyone's pictures. So I'm finally all caught up but I'll be backtracking a bit here:

CT is 1/2 Yankees & 1/2 Red Sox... I'm lucky enough to live right where the dividing line is. We actually get along with Red Sox fans here. Amazing, isn't it?

LOL...I live in CT and I feel like it's mostly Yankees, us Red Sox fans are definitely in the minority in this state! It's really sad actually!

I don't know, I feel like I'm surrounded by Yankees fans here!

I actually do NOT watch baseball...I'm a football girl, myself. But my ENTIRE FAMILY is actually Mets fans. I think we're one of 3 families in the entire state of CT!

Kathy, I have the SAME pictures of the CSR lobby, the dome ceiling, Burrito in the gift shop, and the fountain!

Your pics from the pool and from the walk back to your room after DHS are making me so excited to be there! Only 15 more days!

Your drawings of Donald are so cute! It's funny Mark's actually looks more like how Donald USED TO look back in the 30's: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Donald_duck_debut.PNG So you BOTH did good! We love the Animation Studio classes! We keep our drawings and put them in our scrap books. As a matter of fact, we did Donald back in 2007 but in a different pose.

And I can totally do the silly hat thing!

Kathy, I am so impressed with the Donald drawing! I can't draw a line with a ruler, so never thought to try the Animation Studios...maybe next trip...but I'd better not get Stitch...ugh... and why oh why is he on the wake up call STILL?? Get rid of him already...Geesh, Disney will never convince me any of the Fab 5 would not be a far happier wake up call. I digress....

Couldn't quite choose a fav hat pic of the bunch, but the Candy Corn was a close fave. Really like the new editions too, with the snowman and umbrella.

A hat thread would be fabulous!!!! LOVE IT!!!

I totally forgot after the first two DIS meets to take pictures. I do better later (although I did miss one picture).

Okay, I am going to digress from my TR for a moment here (and then I am back to cleaning the house). Mark and I went to K-Mart to look for some cheap long sleeved shirts for me because it is only in the 50's and I'm freezing (I want to go back to FLORIDA).

So, of course, while there, we had to look at the Halloween items and the Christmas items. Yesterday, we had put up all of our Halloween stuff except my candle holders (not sure if I'm doing those this year or not). In any event, K-Mart had a few new things that we picked up today. Here they are:

Andy was home for dinner last night, a rarity. Cookie loves Andy third best in the family (Mark is #1 and I would be #2...and that's only because my dad is no longer with us or I'd be a distant 3rd).

But please don't go to any trouble for me. It's just that when I saw Kathy's photos I realize even more that we live in the "Disney desert". The nearest Disney store is about 1000 miles away and I get overexcited if I find anything Disney (Mickey ), apart from comic books in any store here!
