Okay, guys, this is getting frustrating. Shall I make a new story?

...Ten people are on a sinking boat. None of these people can swim. This life boat can only occupy 5 people. The weight limit doesn't matter, only the amount of people. Who do you choose to let die, and who do you chose to get on the lifeboat


You guys are taking this way to literally. It's just a simple question asking for a simple answer

the chef isnt going to be much use,
the teacher also,
ditto the professer,
then perhaps myself (I wouldnt be any use in a boat )

I would kick off the oldest and the weakest. Sounds rough, but thats the only thing that will give the survivors a chance. If i happen to fall into any of those categories, I'd probably be kicked off too.

ETA: that baby would have to be gone too.

i'd probably be gone too. The mother and the baby and the pregnant woman wouldn't be much help at all. for anyone to survive at all, you need to keep the most able bodied, strong people you can. A baby and a pregnant woman just aren't those things.

well i guess this is titled a MORAL dilemma so i guess i cant criticize anyone who doesn't have the same morals as me...

well one things for sure, the people are idiots having me choose. "Hey, i have a great idea. Let's put our lives in the hands of a 15 yr old!"

i would choose to leave...

Grandmother, she's lived a good life up to now.
Teacher, couldn't care less...
Chef, wouldn't be much use...
Baby, it would be sad to know you've left someone to die who hasn't lived their life but it wouldn't be much use on a deserted island.
Mother of baby, she would be crying and sobbing too much about losing her baby...

i left me because i don't want to die (plus i'm choosing)
the Professor because i suspect he is a scientist type professor who could be on the verge of curing a disease, we just don't know.
the mechanic because if we are on a deserted island, he could probably fix up some shelters and stuff (again don't know what he does)
the pregent woman because the baby isn't alive yet and so on...
the doctor because I assume he's a good doctor who could help us with any broken bones, diseases caught if we're on an island, etc. plus if i have the pregent woman with us, he could deliever the baby.

The plane you are on has just crashed into the Alps. There is little food & drink around and most of it was in the back of the plane which ripped off near the top of the mountain. Those who have survived the crash have found the only way to survive until they are rescued is eating the flesh of those who died, otherwise known as cannibalism. Would you result to eating human flesh or would you not eat the flesh and starve?

we had that in our RS class this week (it's based on a true story!) and about 3/4 of the class were on the side of eating the flesh. I was with another person who wasn't sure... (ours wasn't as accurate as mine so i said that i would try to find more food but if i couldn't find any then i would probably eat the flesh...)

I have morals. I have good morals. I also have a sense of survival. And as I said in my previous post, if anyone else on the boat had a sense of survival, I'd probably be off the boat too. (and if sacrificing me saves some of their lives, well I'm okay with that.)

If it has 10 in it at the moment, how is it afloat if it only holds 5. Assuming the lifeboat is wood, there is just the dilema of weight. If it is plastic none of you livew long.

Blumonkey - Don't make the story difficult. It's as simple as 1,2,3. 1 - Pick the people to kick off, 2- Type it, 3- Post it

It doesn't matter what the boats made out of, it doesn't matter about the weight limit, nothing else matters besides who you would kick off. No need to ask questions to make the story more difficult.
