I love the tea they make, but hate that Lipton wraps each bag separately. What a pain when you're using a lot of them to make a pitcher of iced tea!

rant over

Sam's Club carries gallon-sized Lipton tea bags. I buy them all the time. One giant tea bag makes a whole gallon.

I used to drink Lipton but ended up buying Salada (something I first had in the 1980s). It is basically like Lipton, but a bit smoother/mellow (sometimes Lipton can taste bitter to me when making hot tea). Anyway, Salada doesn't wrap each bag.

Yes, it does seem like a real waste of paper.

Gosh, I hadn't even thought about tea but it's time to be making suntea outdoors!

I much prefer Luzianne tea anyways ;) and they make a "Family Size" tea bag, which is GREAT for making sun tea, or pitchers of tea.

Best part? The bags come open and ready to go in the box! :thumbsup2

I like Salada better too, but hubby buys whatever is on sale, and it's almost alway Lipton :( .

Will have to try Luzianne, thanks!

Interesting....because I was buying tea not long ago and was purposely trying to find tea that was individually wrapped and was a bit annoyed that so many of them are not! I like to keep a few in my desk. Also, I wrapped up a variety of them with ribbon to stick in a gift basket. Finally, it's nice to have them wrapped in a little dish to put out for people to pick from at dinner parties. I think they stay fresher this way.

I use Tetley tea bags now. I once used Lipton, but I love the Tetley!
The kind I buy doesn't have the paper wrappers or the little tag thing-gies!
