Weather ~ hot and sunny 72*F
A Merry Mickey Christmas INDEX
After another fantastic night's sleep (I think I will go and live on a houseboat LOL ) we awoke to this view which meant we were back at Port Canaveral.

We packed up the rest of our things and took our hand luggage down to breakfast which for us was Animator's Palate.

With our table mates

and after saying our final goodbyes to them, I. and Panda we reluctantly disembarked.
When we'd spent Christmas at Disneyland Paris we'd bought a small Christmas tree for a couple of pounds in Tesco and taken it with us to put up in our room. We'd thought we'd easily pick up a similarly cheap one in Orlando but no such luck ~ on the way back to our hotel we tried everywhere but could only find large and expensive ones.
We spent the day swimming and relaxing and about 4pm started to get ready as we were going out to ICE at Gaylord Palms.

The sculptures are really clever but beware as it is very cold in here. I took my underwater camera which was fine but a few people were having trouble with their cameras and the battery on our car keys froze and took two days before it thawed out enough to work again.

There is complimentary hot chocolate with ICE admission so we enjoyed this whilst listening to carol singers and other entertainment in the atrium. We'd booked reservations for the buffet at Villa de Flora which was plentiful and delicious. Afterwards we strolled through some of the four and a half acres in the atrium, check out the alligators in the last photo below!

Tomorrow ~ Christmas Eve!
