Thee are so many things that have to fall into place for this trip to happen but we have started the planning and usually once the planning begins we make it happen :rotfl:

DH has his holidays booked the plan is
November 6 fly to LA/Dallas
November 7 Charlotte World of Outlaws finals stay a week
November 13 to Miami unsure if driving or flying NASCAR finals stay a week
November 20 4 night DCL cruise out of Miami I am trying to swing a B2B but will have to see
November 29 hopefully black Friday sales somewhere
Head to WDW
Dec 1 DH fly home
Next 2 weeks we just chill at WDW can't wait to see the frosting on that castle
DH will fly back in on the 18th Dec unsure how this is going to work yet will depend on airfares
Approx 22nd Dec New York for :santa: and hopefully a basketball game on Christmas day:cloud9:
The kids want to stay to have the New Year in NY but we haven't decided.
Jan 9/11 chili bowl races
Jan 12 fly home well DH will will see whether we need to stay a few extra days or not based on flight prices

There are lots of gaps that néed to be filled we will be going to Washington DC but not sure if that Wil be after or before NYC would also love to see Niagara falls frozen!

I can't start saving for this till June as we have other things to pay for first but will be booking the accommodation for the races and DVC for WDW as soon as it opens.

I am :scared1::scared1::scared1: and not just about the crazy amount of $$$$ needing to be saved in this house this year but about how sick ds12 and I were last time it really has me quite fearful and I don't want to spend a whole trip worrying about getting ill.

Wow, your trips are always full on and for such a great length of time. Good luck with the planning :thumbsup2

And here I was thinking it was going to be a lot more relaxing this time spending more time in less places :rotfl:
Apart from 2015 this will be our last long trip we plan on having a mortage next year and I know that will change a lot of things ::yes::

Looks like the makings of another great trip. I'm tuning in for the planning popcorn::

We were planning on spending NYE in New York but since the kids can't go to Bubba Gumps that night I am rethinking this has anyone spent NYE in Times square??

OOH! Sounds great!
:thumbsup2
:dance3: That looks AWESOME!
:thumbsup2 where are you hoping to go? Will our paths cross?

Can't wait to see it all come to fruition!

I surely hope so ;)
What is life without a dream. It is amazing what can happen with some focus. Pixie dust
pixiedust: your so right but right now I am having trouble keeping my eye on the prize :rotfl2:

Thanks I hope it is and hopefully one with no illness this time :)

I watched a thing on NBCs Today Show and they were talking about Times Square on NYE. It's massively crowded and they said people were arriving early in the morning to get a spot and there are check points with security everywhere. I don't think I'd be able to stake out my spot for that long without having a wee accident... And I know my kids would not be able to wait that long either.

I have to ask. What's chilli bowl? :confused3

The idea was to get a room with a Times square view which is mega$$$ but we have changed our minds just have to tell DH:)

Chilli Bowl is an indoor speedway race in Tulsa, Ok It's often snowing outside

NYE in Times Square does not appeal to me at all!

Actually doing the bubba gumps or similar party would be fun, but pricey - but you can't take the children,so that's out.

$500 a head is what I have read it is for Bubba Gumps  Have just told DH it's not really praticle to do NYE in NY he is not overly impressed at the moment and actually said well we dont need to go there then :scared1: I have reminded him that we want to go to the basketball there on Christmas day.
I am now trying for Niagara Falls for NYE if we could get a hotel room overlooking Times Square I would still consider NY to people watch maybe :confused3

Wow, two months. I'm jealous. Sounds like a great trip.

If it's not too nosey, how do you manage to pull the kids out of school for over a month?
Here in NZ they would be 'netted' if they were away that long. Meaning they would be removed from the school's roll and put on a government chase-up list.

We homeschool and can take our holidays anytime my kids are already back studying now. I also like to call it there Geography lesson the kids did classes at WDW the first year we went and wanted to do them again last year they loved them so they are hoping to do some this year as well.

Ahh, I see. Lovely to have that flexibility and be able to travel at cheaper times.

Wow what an amazing trip you have planned:cool1:
We wanted to do NYE in NY but the accommodation costs alone were outrageous, we ended up in Vegas instead, but after many years of Sydney fireworks Vegas was a let down, you just can't beat Sydney NYE:thumbsup2

Look forward to following this PTR and seeing if you get it all planned in time, :worship:
