A Manly Scrapbook Page?

Hi, I have just taken pictures of my DD's boyfriend's new/older car.Other words a large 1992 car.Shhhhhhhh Now I would like to do up a scrapbook page that could be framed. Any Ideas, I am going for supplies this weekend.His car is Silver, I have many different views including the license plate and a logo across the windshield.

You should fine some papers and embellishments you like at a well stocked LSS. I've done a couple different sets of pages relating to DS getting his license, first car, and related scenes and had no trouble making them "manly".

You may want to do a black page and use metallic pens. A friend is doing a car/Harley book for her dh with that.

I bought the Create-A-Plate stickers and they really do look like license plates when they are on your page. I got them at Hobby Lobby, but I have seen them on several websites and in other craft stores/LSS. Plus the website has some nice idea pages too.

I do lots of NASCAR and NHRA drag racing scrapbooks. I have also done pages of old cars that my DH has restored. I use lots of blacks, reds, grays, and silvers for that "manly look"!

Hey Disney Ontario....I'm not sure where in Southern Ontario you are but there are some great scrapbook stores in Burlington, Hamilton & London that sell the Create-A-Plate stickers. I did a page in my scrapbook when I bought my car and when I got my new personalized license plates. If I was doing the page I would use a black background and silver & black paper for matting the pictures. I would then journal with a silver pen. If you like more information about the scrapbook stores, feel free to send me a PM and I will give you their names and directions to the stores.

Thanks everyone. couldn't find any stickers out and about today, but picked up black on black paper. Also picked up lots of other paper too. Oh dear I guess I will have to get stickers to match Poor me on to another scrapbooking store this weekend.

Hi Its me again. Was a 3 different Scrapbook stores on the weekend. Still can't find "cre8-A-Plate" stickers. The one store has ran out and was $9.00. On the internet I did find them for $1.??. but don't want to order over the net. I am from Southern Ontario, Canada. ANY HELP PLEASE.
