A MAGICal trip to Key West and the Western Caribbean March 29/15

Received our cabin assignment today. Booked a GTY in Cat 7 and we were bumped up to a Cat 6. How are aft cabins in relation to seasickness? If we hit rough seas will this cabin be more or less susceptible to the ups and downs?

Post your room numbers when you find out what it will be. I always have a few extra FE gifts!
pixiedust:
Thank you so much! We will know our room numbers 3 days before the cruise leaves. We have 2 cabins with an 11 year old girl in each one. Let me know your cabin's number, names and ages. I will prepare gifts for you too.
Thanks!

If you have 2 extra FE gifts and would like to exchange gifts with 2 eleven year-old girls, please let me know. This is also an offer for anyone who has missed getting on the lists and would like to be a part of an FE exchange.

I'll also drop off an FE gift, you can refer to the FE lists on page 1 of this thread for people's room ##s. I think I'm in 2092 with my daughter

You are welcome, we are Kenny, Susan, and Jake Seaman. Jake is 8 years old and we are in room 6032. I will check on the 26th for your room numbers.

The deadline said March 10th. I posted a request on March 10th.
That said, I'm sorry, but summer brown may be referring to your post #317, where you said the latecomer list would close March 10th.
Excuse me, I just want everybody to be happy, as I'm sure you do. The only reason I noticed that was I was looking forward to knowing how many FE gifts I'd be bringing.

Yes, that was the post I was referring to. I understand if our girls cannot be added. Sniff sniff we are excited to be on the cruise and make some new friends.

Here is the original post 317

The latecomer list will be closed on March 10th.

It does not say deadline - it clearly says it will be closed on March 10th. And that's what I did. I closed the list in the early hours of March 10th.
I don't think that it was misleading as the following quote was posted on Monday, March 9th in the evening:

You need to have at least 10 posts to access, so just make a ## of posts. Believe list closes tonight. The # of post thing was discussed within the last few pages on this thread.
Good luck & hurry!

The person in question did hurry up and still made it in time.

This is post 377:

The FE gift exchange sign up is now closed.

Missing information:
jjharris - family information
div - stateroom number
IlovemythreeC's - stateroom number

Please let me know your information as soon as possible!!!

The list that is up is
final (will only be updated with the missing information) and the decklist for this group will be added once all stateroom numbers are on the list. There will also be another decklist for the ones who do both lists!!

It was then quoted twice in post 380 and 381, which is the top post on the page you posted first.

Your first post was post #388. Therefore you WERE past the sign up date and the list had already been closed.

Hello, my family of four: my husband, my 2 boys ages 7 and 9 and myself will be cruising on the Magic. I usually travel with my friends but this time I wanted to travel our family solo. This is our first time cruising and I'm super excited that is with the DCL! This will be a wonderful surprised for my boys as I just booked it and they have no idea we are going! At this point, I do not believe I can participate in the FE but would like to meet other families. I have a stateroom assigned and cannot wait to sail away! Hope to see you all very soon!

:welcome: to our cruise meet thread!
What a fun surprise for your boys. You are going to have so much fun.
Any questions, feel free to ask.

We have been in an aft stateroom before and yes, you can feel a little more movement there.
I have no idea how prone to seasickness you are, but we did not suffer at all. But then we have cruised through Hurricanes and we did not have any problems with seasickness - guess I am not much help here. Are you in a stateroom with a veranda?

Question for DAY 5 is now closed! Thanks to all who have already been playing. You don't have to play every day, but the more often you play, the better your chances of winning. :-)

Question 5

There are
two extra points up for grabs today (so 4 if you answer both questions!)
One point if you know the country the Captain lives in when he is not at sea and
one point if you can name the exact city he lives in.

If he is not at sea, he calls Treviso in Italy his home town.
Made for a fun conversation when he found out that we pass through there quite often on route to our Italian weekend vacation.

Question SIX

How to play:

Every day I will post a question here, over the next 19 days. Please PM your answer -
do NOT answer in a post!!!!
I will keep a spreadsheet and keep track of the points you earn. There will be a small token for the winner (and maybe the runners up as well), once we get on the ship.

So, do you wanna play?

Let's go .......

There are two photos for you today. They are of a motorcycle which you can find on one of the Disney ships.

The question is about the number plate. What is the special meaning behind the number 688?

There is another
BONUS POINT up for grabs if you can tell me the exact location on the ship in question.

Good luck!

Next question will be posted tomorrow.

688 is the number which was given to the ship, while it was in production. Calling a ship by the name it will be given lateron is considered bad luck.
688 was the number given to the Disney Fantasy.

There is another
BONUS POINT up for grabs if you can tell me the exact location on the ship in question.

You can find this motorcycle in La Piazza, which is a part of the adult entertainment area, Europa.

You have been working really hard to answer those "not so easy" questions lately. What about an easy one today?

There are three Main Dining Rooms on every one of the Disney ships (the regular ones, not the adult only ones). Only one main dining room can be found on all three ships. What is its name?

And another BONUS POINT up for grabs:

What are the names of the other two main dining rooms on the Disney Magic?

Good luck!

Next question will be posted tomorrow.
