Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Hello!! Working on my FE gifts. Are we still doing it right?

I have been working on ours over the holidays as well. And YES, we are still doing it, even if our group is still pretty small.
The link to the list is still in the first post.

So happy to have you.

The FE is still open and I will gladly add you to the lists in my first post and the online list!

Did anyone get a Port Arrival Time earlier then 11:00 AM? I was pretty sure last year on the fantasy that the earlier times that were already full were greyed out, but on this cruise, the earliest option i see is 11AM.

I think 11am IS the earliest PAT.

Not 100% sure, as we are platinum and can show up whenever we want to, but when we do b2bs we go back on around 10am and then have about an hour where we have the ship to ourselves. So I guess 11am is the earliest time.

Your first Disney cruise? You are going to love it. There is only one downside to cruising on DCL - it gets addictive and you want to cruise again and again and again. ;)

I have already added you to the FE list! It's great to see it growing. The link is in the first post. :goodvibes

Me and my 9 year old daughter and 8 year old son are in for our first cruise of any sort for their spring break. I'm nervously excited!

Second cruise? What other ship have you been on? This will be our 15th cruise since 2009. ;)
There is a lot of information about the FE in the first post. Still time to sign up for it. We will close sign up on February 15th.
Once you decide, let me know if you want to join and I can add you to the list. :thumbsup2

What cruise were you on in 2013? We did a back to back on the Fantasy in August 2013. Would be fun to find out we were on the same cruise. :lmao:
You will find the Magic VERY small compared to the Fantasy though.

I do understand about not wanting to go on another line. We started out in 2009 with what should have been a once in a lifetime cruise. And here we are now 6 years later and this will be cruise no 15 for us. :goodvibes

And I will add you to the FE list, right after I have finished this post. Should not take long and you can take a look at your names on the online list! ;)

This is our family's first Disney cruise and I just learned about fish extenders today - we would love to participate!

We are the Moran Family in Room # 2564. 2 adults: Matt & Katherine and 2 girls: Elizabeth. age 6 and Natalie, age 4. Can you please add us to your group!

We can't wait for all the MAGIC!

I will gladly add you to the FE list. Will need to do it tomorrow though as it is past 11pm here and I need to get up again at 5am.
So - tomorrow you'll get on the list. :goodvibes

Thanks for adding us!

Do we get to meet up with our group at some point in the cruise?

And do I need to wait and sign up for anything when we board? I think my husband will be doing a snorkeling excursion at one port and we will just book that through Disney, probably. Any opinions on which one would be best?

Otherwise, i was just going to wing it with our little girls (walk through town in Key West, maybe go to Seven Mile Beach, and obviously hit the beach in CC). Would I totally miss on something great by doing that?

I am sure there will be a meet, probably on the first day before the drill. Nothing is set in stone yet. ;)

You should already be able to book excursions and Palo brunch and/or dinner as have already past the 75 day window.
I guess not all excursions will still be available once on board.

Key West can easily be done by yourself. There is also a hop on hop off trolley that circles the island and gets you to the most famous sights.
We are not really beach people (apart from Castaway Cay) so we will do private excursions in Grand Cayman and Cozumel, but there are quite a few excursions if you want to go through Disney.
If not, there are usually enough taxis around to take you to places.

My parents are so generously taking all of us on our first cruise (for all of us!).

We have my parents Duane and Kathy, myself (Anne) and my DH Dion, then our 4 kids will be split between our two rooms (one inside cabin and one outside with veranda (best of both worlds)). Our kids are Blake (DS-19), Sarah (DD-15), Carson (DS-10 - celebrating his birthday on the cruise!) and Chayse (DD-8).

I believe we would like the kids to be added to the fish extenders (is it just the kids or do adults join in the fun as well?)

We have staterooms #6543 and #6540.

As far as excursions we have decided:

Key West - explore on our own, Fort Zachary or a place to have a beverage or three (aka fun bar area)

Grand Cayman - we booked through Disney (the idea of the ship leaving me scares the beejeezus out of me) the Dolphin Extreme Swim and Turtle Farm. The older men in our group are sitting this one out, but the rest of us are ALL IN!

Cozumel - all of us are signed up for the Cozumel ruins and beach tour. I would love to take the kids to Tulum, but the drive was long and that would have limited us to just doing the ruins. This way we have a little of both ruins and beach time. (my kids are water babies!)

Castaway Cay - we are snorkeling and beaching the day away! My littles (Car and Chayse) have even started practicing with the snorkel!

My dad may bow out of some of the excursion depending upon how he feels. He had a horrific motorcycle accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury, so we have some good days and some not-so-good days. That is why we decided upon a cruise, those who want to relax can, those that want to go-go-go can do as well!

We even have Palo booked on Day 3 (at sea day).

What do all of you seasoned cruisers think? Is this do-able?

I am so excited! We have a few great vacations planned before this (Dominican Republic and Vegas) and the cruise is all I can think about!

:lovestruc Anne
