A Magical Stay. A Hurtful Time Day 1 (cont)

So we waited for the hotel shuttle and we were off. A quick ride to the TTC and the Monorail to GF and I knew I was home. At 2 I was at the poduim only to be told my PS was for 2:30 (wrong) but the probably couldn't seat us till 2:45. Okay, I'm here, I don't care.. so we strolled over to the pool bar for a cocktail and sat with in the warm sunshine at poolside. They took us promptly at 2:24 and we settled in for what I knew would be a lovely tea. Joe had Prince Edwards Tea and I had the Grand Tea (i'll be posting more detals on the Restaurant Board) One of my tea sandwiches had the best egg salad I've ever tasted and the Chef has promised to send me the recipe. Leaving, feeling like 2 beachballs it was back to the Monorails and off to EPCOT. Our first ride every trip has to be Spaceship Earth and this trip was going to be no different. Then it was over to the F&WF. We decided we would have no room for a sit down meal at Le Celier after what we just had so I cancelled the PS on our way to the UK to see The British Invasion and THe World Showcase Players. Unfortunately, the WS was insane with people. I've never see lines so long at the different countries. We did manage to get a glass of red wine for me and a Casa beer for Joe in Morocco and moved over to the US to hear the 3 Dog Night play. The crowds seemed to be getting bigger and it was staring to get late so it was off to POR. We had promised Bob Jackson we would visit our first night and we knew we could catch some of the ballgame there. By 10:30 I had had it.. We had bee up since 3 and my knees were killing me, so back to the hotel to watch the rest of the game and dream of AK tomorrow.

WS was packed during F&WF. I've never seen so many people there!
