Sounds like a great idea!! We are thinking about upgrading at the port, so we may have a room change.

The sail away party is at 4:30 i think (maybe 4:15) and the muster drill is at 4:00 i believe. 3:00 sounds like a great time. We could meet on the deck above the pool (deck 10 i think), or at the front of the ship, or promenade lounge...

Dsboards meet at 3:00 on the port side of deck 10 just above goofy's pool (the one with the giant tv).

Hi,

This is my first post. I'm over the moon excited about our cruise. Not sure I will be able to focus at all the next 10 days at work.

This will be cruise # 2 for us, 1st 7 day and 1st on the Magic.

Meaghan (aged 11 - 2 months shy of 12)
Shaun (aged 5 - and a long list of food allergies)

We hail from Nova Scotia in Canada. Looking forward to the sunshine

I feel like we have lots of get ready for!!! I've started the door decor and I think it's a little late to join the FE - but I may try to put something together and bring some things along.

Does anyone know if those aged 11 can go into the Oceaneers Lab and Edge - I'm thinking a few times I may want her to go in with DS (5) and other times she'll want to be on her own.

DS is looking forward to meeting some kids her age and having some freedom on the boat.

I feel like a kid counting the sleeps til Santa comes.......

Talking with our travel agent (Costco) the other day she implied that we should be receiving boarding passes from them soon??? We received our book from Disney with luggage tags and reservation # a while back, so should we be expecting something else? We booked our flight on our own.

The FE list "closed" on march 15th, but i can add your name. Some people purchased gifts based on the march 15th numbers, but some people have extra gifts. I can't guarantee a full FE, but at least you'll get some gifts.

Thank you for your names so that i can get your lanyards printed! Will you please also let me know your room number, for the FE list and in case i need to get to your room to give you your lanyards.

The only documents you'll need are the ones in your cruise book with your luggage tags (you will need your cruise docs book at port). If you have already checked in online you will need the cruise contract and the credit card permission signature (allowing those listed to use credit card you have put on file). Just take those with you to the port. At port you will be given an illness paper to sign stating no one in you group has had a fever, vomiting, diarreha, etc in the past 48 hours or so.

If you do it on board you'll get a discount and higher on board credit. Also, if the date ou selected doesn't end up working, you can change it later (before the paid in full date) and still keep the on board credit!

Great, thanks. I'll have to pick your brain a little on how far out you can book and if you can move it. also, wondering if I can book a room for a friend and get the discount too?

I'm sure we'll have time to chat on board.

Also, I wanted to pass along that my kids fav characters are
Tinkerbell for Meaghan and Shaun loves Wall- E ( but I have a hard time finding wall e stuff so he likes McQueen as well.

Hi Rob,
I am new on Dis boards and found a ticker that had a web site link. You go to the site create one you like and copy the html and paste it into your signature. Hope this helps. Maybe someone can provide more info.

I have some extras for the kids for the FE. Will you have a hanger on the door? This is our first cruise with Disney and I have a DS(5) traveling with us and DD (3 almost 4). We are super excited also and looking forward to having a lot of FUN!!!!

Well everyone, this time next week we will be walking through the giant mickey ears and having cast members announce our names as we board the Magic!

Don't forget about the disboards meet on deck 10 midship (--above goofy pool-the one with the tv-the side not overlooking the dock) at 3:00 on embarkation day. I'll be there with the lanyards for everyone. I'll probably be wearing a Dream maiden voyage shirt and i'll be wearing my lanyard.
